Blue Water Grill & Raw Bar

Dillon was our waiter, and he really went above and beyond. His recommendations were also on point. We started with a dozen oysters (a buck a shuck). No pic, we devoured too fast, but super happy we listened to Dillon and tried the lemon honey horseradish sauce. Excellent compliment to our oysters. I got the tuna sashimi appetizer as my entree. That was awesome and PLENTY of food. The hot mustard in the coleslaw, delicate tuna, just really made it. My hubs got the seared shrimp pasta. The light cream sauce just pulled that dish together. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and the flavors delicious. We will definitely be back! Sorry for the lighting on the pics.

Service is very friendly and knowledgeable. Had the shrimp pasta dish. Ample servings of bug shrimp, cherry tomatoes, noodles, artichokes and a tasty sause.
The Buffalo hamburger was very tender and tasty. No fatty flavor either.

We stopped in here with a group of 12, I recommend calling to reserve a table. Google will say they do not have a table available.

We all had a blast and got some great food.
I got bay shore steamed oysters and the fish taco tuna.

It was a great experience and I loved the atmosphere.

This was our first visit to this restaurant and we weren't disappointed. Our server was excellent, and the oysters were some of the best I've ever had. We also enjoyed the mussels and they have a good selection of adult beverages! Check this place out if you are on the Outer Banks!!

Had a great stop for lunch! Ordered the smoked wings, and fish tacos. You get 10 wings and they were HUGE! Not complaining. If anything, surprised for what you get at the price point. You get two fish tacos, but they were also big. Everything tasted wondering. Tons of flavor, good temperature, and tasted fresh - especially the fish! The drinks were also good! Recommend the crush. Service was also good and our server was attentive. Sat at a table with a view. Zero complaints!

Had a great time and meal at blue water grill! The day itself was foggy and gross so no photos to share of the view, which was superb to see all the boats coming in and out.

Our waitress was excellent! Drinks, apps and meals all were taken and brought quickly, including the oyster shooters which were a favorite. The menu has multiple staples and then they provide a fresh catch and specials for each day of the week. They happily accommodated dietary restrictions and the food and alcohol was delicious!

Stopped in and sat at the bar for lunch. NC oysters were some of the best I’ve had in a minute! Service was excellent. Great menu choices for lunch. Entrees ran about $16.

What an awesome place to get seafood and drinks! Get there early because it gets busy fast. We came at 11:30am on a Saturday and it was getting packed. We started with a dozen Southern Belle oysters and a Manteo Mash drink. The oysters were delicious, especially with the cocktail and lemon sauces. We tried the blackened Mahi tacos and the tuna sashimi appetizer. Both were delicious! The mustard sauce that comes with the sashimi will burn your nose if you get a lot at one time. Really enjoyed the coleslaw salad that came with it and the toasted wontons. Our waitress was helpful and super kind. Such a good place to try!

Hubby and I stopped by for a quick bite on our way home from a beautiful vacation. I had the oyster sampler and strawberry salad, both were very good, but hubby got the swordfish...it was absolutely divine! I seriously considered ordering one to go for later! We finished with a slice of yummy carrot cake (it is my birthday, after all) the cake was perfectly moist and had a very tasty caramel sauce. Limited draft selection, but really great bourbon selection to make up for that.

Good food and nice view of the marina. While there was only 6 fried shrimp they are big and have an excellent taste. Decent price for a seafood place.
Have other good looking options for non-seafood eating people

Man, the food here was yummy. It made the lack of A/C where we were seated and the general packed-to-the-gills, chaotic feel of the place moot points. We enjoyed probably the best shrimp and grits I've ever had here. We also enjoyed the simple (but tasty as heck) blackened fish tacos and fried pickles, as well as some hella cocktails with generous pours—both in-restaurant and downstairs at the tiki bar. The marina vibe was fun as well.

I visited this establishment for the first time today and found it very pleasant. The setting is beautiful, the food was great, and the service was outstanding. My friend had the pulled pork sandwich, and I had the turkey (with added bacon). The homemade chips they serve with their sandwiches are very good. We had the creme brulee for dessert. Definitely check it out when you're in the area.

The food here is exceptional. The restaurant is on the second floor and overlooks the marina. A great place for lunch. I enjoyed the blackened fish tacos - perhaps the best I ever had. We will put this place on our 'must-do' list for every time we come down here.

We have always enjoyed our meals here. What a location, friendly staff and wonderfully delicious food and tasty beverages. Buck a shuck nights are awesome. We enjoy both indoor/outdoor seating and service. The lunch deals are great, the salad offering is very good. Sit outside, enjoy some beverages and tasty eats.... We love the view.

Our party came in for dinner. As we had reservations we were promptly seated. Our service was timely and friendly. The food was fantastic! Everyone one loved their dishes. The Sea Bass was top shelf as was the Fried Shrimp and Seafood Pasta. To top it off, they brought out a birthday dessert for my wife. The next time I'm in the area, Blue Water is on my list to hit again.

Went here with my parents around the holidays. The place was packed. The staff did a wonderful job. I was not disappointed at all. From the waiter to the hostess to the chef they all nailed it!

If you are craving some rich tasting food then you came to the right place. If you are also looking for some refreshing drinks then I recommend here as well. We ordered orange crush that had awesome tang and sweetness to it. It was very refreshing. As appetizer we ordered fried calamari and it was really delicious with touch of peanut sauce. A bit salty but if you eat ones without too much sauce on it, then it wasn't bad at all. We also ordered shrimp and grits and bison burger. Both of them tasted really great and definitely hit the spot. The overall environment and view was great too. You can easily see water and the openness. Try them out! They are very busy so make reservations if you can! =)

The food was on point- a little overpriced. This was a nonissue as the oysters were labeled where they came from and differed in variety and size - a very cool experience for those who don’t eat these on the regular. The oyster shots are 5$ and highly recommend this experience as well.

Tonight’s dinner for Mother’s Day was at Blue Water Grill & Raw Bar. I had the tuna sashimi appetizer which was Pepper seared rare tuna over wasabi coleslaw, crisp wontons, sweet soy, and Coleman's spicy mustard. It was delicious but the tuna was definitely spicy. The wasabi coleslaw was flavorless and felt like it was missing something. However, the orange crush was absolutely DELICIOUS! Otherwise the meal was very good. Finished dinner with a heath bar brownie which hit the spot.The staff were very friendly especially the waiter working at the raw bar. He was very nice and provided us with an enjoyable conversation. The restaurant in general was laid back and relaxed
