This is the best place in town for liquor. They have a HUGE selection and can get nearly anything you request if they don't have it. The wooden nickel deal and cash coupon are an added bonus - 10% off when paying cash 🤑. The employees are all cool as well. They often offer a sample if you're unsure of something. They also sometimes have scheduled sample tastings and you might just get to try a shot of $90 scotch on a whim 🤤🙌

You want a place that rips you off and doesn’t know what they’re selling go to the big chain grocery in town. This place is completely legit. I was looking for something special for a gift and instead of just pointing out the most expensive item like a certain other store, the owner of the store personally walked me around and talked about the different products he recommended until I found the one that fit the bill. I can’t recommend this place enough and there is even a puppy named nickle who will hang with you for a couple scratches. Bring cash to get a discount but even without it the prices were fantastic. I’ll be back again soon no doubt.

In my opinion, the folks that work here are the absolute best in the business! Honest, friendly, and very knowledgeable.

I decided to reconsider my one star feedback and changed it to five stars. Unfortunately, Central City can’t dictate how many bottles of allocated liquor they’ll get in a year. They do the best they can during the annual vault even if some of us come up empty-handed. I know I spent three thousand + the year before last and didn’t get a pick. I also know that the store continually has awesome store picks and takes great care of their customers. The change of heart here is well deserved.

They have an amazing array of liqueurs and mixes.. the staff is super helpful but not pushy or trying to up sell you on things you don’t need .. I highly recommend

They have a large variety of spirits at a reasonable price. I've always found what I was looking for here. Will certainly be coming back. Don't forget to tell them you have a coupon!

This is the number one place to go if you are trying to buy what you desire drink wise. They have very good prices and the people that work there are wonderful.

Came out of KC this am, thought I would stop and check this place out. Great Scotch prices, they beat every liquor store in all of Kansas City, and had a better selection! Super nice staff! Thank you for making my 5 hour drive much more fun than normal! See you on my way back!

Husband raves about this place to everyone. We live 2 hours away and this was my first stop in on our day trip to Des Moines for our anniversary. Very impressive and rather large selection of liquors! Staff is friendly and helpful as well. Will be back next time we make the trek for sure!!
