Went here for the first time finally. Great atmosphere with people coming and going for lunch. Employees were very friendly and came and cleaned up our trash when we were finished but still sitting and chatting

We had a burger and the roast beef sandwich. Burger was great. The sandwich was a sandwich, but the sweet pepper was a nice touch. We sat on the porch and enjoyed the fall weather.

Great friendly atmosphere from the staff here, they are accommodating and care about your experience. They have a wonderful variety of unique items and gifts, food, wine, etc. and we were able to sit at their dining tables and have a glass of wine. We will be returning!

Maxey's Store is a great addition to the village area in Powhatan. Great attention is given to the quality of foods in the store. The fresh meats and seafood are exceptional. The store also has a great selection of wine and beer. If you are in the Powhatan Village area, it's well worth a visit!

Delicious meals at decent prices! There is a good amount of food too, which is nice these days. Onion rings here are the best I've had.

Visited this place today (17 Oct 2023). Beautiful facilities with an interesting selection of product. A selection of high quality beef steak (in the meat case) that rivals the best of butcher shops. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I recently moved to the area with my wife. Our realtor let us know this store was opening up so when we finally got into the house I had to try it out. The shop looks cool (I have yet to purchase anything but will). The sandwich I purchased was incredible. One of the best lunches I have had in a while and at a competitive price. The staff was friendly and quick with their service. I recommend folks go and enjoy this new establishment

A true GEM added to Powhatan! They have a delicious lunch menu, ice cream, local meats and veggies, and an assortment of other products. Definitely worth checking out.
