Books-A-Million

The store was clean and the 1st lady was a young black lady and she had a problem spelling my last name even after spelling it out to her she still couldn't get it right and then she asked me for my driver's license to spell my last name and she still couldn't get it right. She kept turning around and looking out the window behind her. This went on for a few minutes and then another lady a white lady came over and finished with my order and she didn't have any problems spelling my last name and she finished my order.

I have not been inside in years. I am really it Anime and Dungeons & Dragons. This can be hard in my area to find it around. One of the employees said I really should check them out. Mind blown half the store is that now. Makes this OG (Old Geek) smile! Thanks, Haley, for being there to help me!

So happy to see that there are now so many metaphysical books as well as tarot cards and oracle cards here now. Its great to see this place growing!

The staff today was pleasant, friendly, and helpful. The books are placed on the shelves in sections by the author's last name. There is a plethora of "stuff" besides books - bookmarks, plushies, tote bags, pens, crystals, pendants and charms, back and head scratchers, t-shirts, and much, much more. The lady in the coffee shop area will find you as you browse and bring your coffee to you. This is where my daughter chose to come for her birthday (14).

Not just books but collectibles (funko pops, NECA figures, and other merchandising.) Warm and friendly staff.

Really nice book store. Staff was friendly, the store was organized and clean, and the prices were good.

I enjoy coming here. One of the few places in Goldsboro you can buy comics. It is usually not busy so if you want a quiet place to read or a okay place to have a coffee give it a visit.

Great atmosphere. Something for everyone, books, toys, journals, collectibles, and so much more. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Great place for holiday gifts and great books.

Love coming here when I get the chance. They have literally every book I’m looking for when I come in. I do miss the coffee shop but they’ve expanded the store a bit with that space. They also have a really nice selection of knick-knacks like plushies, board games, and memorabilia. All the staff have been friendly to me and strike up actual conversations when checking out. Also, their summer deals are some of the best out there.

My daughter adores this book store. Two problems though...1ST it is way to far from us and 2ND they are so expensive. We never get out of there without spending over $180 😥

Always enjoy coming to this place, im always treated nicely. I see reviews where people say rude things about the workers but tbh you have to realize they have things to do also, they are the reason the books are out on the shelves for you to buy. overall i recommend going to this books a million!:)

I love going in here. They have such a cheerful and helpful staff. I love picking up bargains from the clearance shelves on the sidewalk in front of the store. $5.97 & $6.97 for hardback large books that regularly go for $27.00!! Plus the coffee shop is wonderful. New flavors like "Double Caramel Apple Frappe" with a shot of espresso is what I got. Yummy!!

Being able to browse the books in person is a joy you just can't get online. Both serve a purpose, of course but the smell of the paper and the familiarity seems to give the book life each time you pick it up. Thank goodness for Books a Million. Hope you're around for a long time to come!

The store is bright and clean! I love how the organization of it all is. I didn't buy anything, but browsed quite awhile. They have so many items that I'd love to get. The staff that I came across we're nice and asked if they could help me with anything.

There's also a coffee shop in there. It made the store smell SOOOOO good. (I don't know what it tastes like since I didn't buy anything.)
