Great place to find art supplies at an affordable price. Parking can be a bit difficult to find on the weekends, and sometimes items are a hit or miss. I would definitely recommend checking it out during the weekday for the best items

The other evening, I was walking with my partner after dinner at a local restaurant, and I saw a business that had their doors wide open--inviting us in. I didn't recognize the business at first. Then I remembered it!!! Previously, I used EBDCR, as a place to take my leftover art and office supplies, and other items that I had laying around that I didn't need anymore.

So, if you're looking for something unusual, this is a place to go. You might find what you're looking for, and you might find something that you didn't know you were looking for for--like the red feathered headdress I found there. It was was a little tattered, but it looked pretty cool on my head. I asked how much it was, and it was only $2. So, I got it, and paraded around town with it on my head rhe rest of the evening.

When I was a teacher. I was always looking for fun stuff to spice up my classroom. Teacher's and get free stuff here!!! Can you believe it?

You will never know what you find there. If you really want it--better get it--because it probably won't be there tomorrow.

If you have too much STUFF, and you want to get rid of clutter, this may be a place where you can unload old treasures. Better call before you take your "jewels" there to find out what they need, and when their drop off times are.

Wow! What a store. We were recommended to come here because my son loves books (They have a giat section of National Geography.) Our daughter is a little artsy. She loves art and craft since she was one year old. She got a big nice fablic for 25 cents! I got myself a very nice tea cups from England for $1! And 2 coffee cups from Japan for $1.50 each. What a deal! They have pretty everything. Children books are only $1!

If you are thrifty or just want to save money on art projects, this is your place. Super friendly and helpful staff. Mask is still required.

A haven for creatives! Our local reuse place shut down recently and it was such a treat to get to shop here. Well organized and a fantastic variety for the relatively small space. A must-visit for any maker of things.

This place is fantastic for getting all manner of truly inexpensive art supplies & other ephemera or crafty things and decluttering art supplies you are no longer using. win-win! there are also books, paintings, computer equipment, multimedia art and the supplies necessary to make multimedia art, wallpaper, fabric, cassettes, CDs and video tapes you thought you would never see again, like straight from the 80s!! You never know what you might find here and you might find something you didn't know you needed until you saw it here!! this place is a delight to the senses and a dangerous place for a hoarder to go, but delightful if you're trying to unclutter . highly recommend for anyone who is running a day-care, a teacher, an art teacher or a craft enthusiast. there are also a number of great places to get wonderful food in the area. I am always thrilled to visit this area & this cute neighborhood, not to mention it is deeply satisfying to know there is a successful place to take things that are perfectly good to be reused by somebody who actually wants them and the prices are very very affordable!! Perfection in a store. ADA compliant but no disabled parking as far as I could tell. The drop off is around the back so pull up to the back if you are trying to drop stuff off for reuse!! Wish there were more places like this everywhere.😊😊❤❤❤

I really appreciate a store like the reuse depot because it is the kind of place that we need in this throw away age. The store collects items from donations or other means, and curates these items for sale. Some items seem more expensive than they should be, others seem like a bargain. The excitement is that the store offerings change daily and you just never know when you might find that little doohickey that you never knew existed, but you need in your life. Most things can have a second life as part of an art project, as a historical artifact or just as home decor. I would be sad if this place ever closes down.

Volunteered here for sewing class twice. I've passed many times over the years but never went in. Great organization devoted to reuse and repurpose of items that would end up in landfill. Lots of great and unique items at fab prices. Wonderful staff too.

This is an AMAZING place for teachers, for artists, and for any green, environmentally-conscious creative people with ideas they would like to bring to fruition. Definitely a terrific place for folks who have more ideas, than they have money! I ADORE this store! Discounts for teachers, too! Almost anything you can think of, can be found here!

This is the best place for crafting! They had literately everything from paint to fabric! The price is weighted by pounds! I bought so many lace for real cheap! Stuff is really nice and helpful! Will definitely come back again! This place is the best!

Really great spot for some good craft deals or cheap supplies. It's a reuse store so sometimes you really have to dig through the bins to find something, but it is so cheap and can find some bulk items! I was impressed with the embroidery, yarn, and sewing material they have available. Love this spot!

Great place to stock up on paper!

Many items aren't priced, but I'm always pleasantly surprised by my total at the checkout counter. Paper & cardstock is priced by the stack height, instead of counted individually (e.g. $0.50 PER INCH!).

Coudn't facilitate students making engineer prototypes without this place! And, to my surprise, on my last visit, teachers receive $25 of free stuff each month! My haul of $42 only cost me $17! A welcome discount, as I spend $$$ on consumable supplies regularly! I've been going to EBDFCR since 1984 when they were in a garage in North Oakland! Does anyone out there know what I'm talking about???

Dropping off donations was easy breezy. I knew they wouldn’t take everything, but they were polite and explained what they had too much of, and what they would like more of. It made it much easier to collect things for my second trip.

They are the kindest and most dedicated staff and such such a gem for educators! I watched as several staff went out of their way to help creatives find that missing piece to the ideas they had and such synergy in that space!

Used to love to go there until they did some remodeling for a sewing class I believe in the back area. A lot of the fun stuff is gone not very much yarn to choose from all the materials been moved so I don't know that I'll be returning. But some might find it a little easier to navigate around with less things. Personally I didn't like it

As an artist I find this place such a boon. I get used canvases, art tools, even tools that I never knew existed. Sometimes there paintings that I would consider art. There are other items as well, fabrics, pottery, and knick knacks of all sorts that you could use for your arts and crafts projects.
