Hands down, this is the best grocery store in town! The sheer variety of options available here is mind-blowing. From international cuisines to organic and gluten-free products, they have something for everyone. The layout of the store is well-planned, making it easy to navigate and find exactly what you're looking for. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. I also appreciate their emphasis on cleanliness and hygiene, especially during these challenging times. Shopping here is always a pleasure!

I was at Safeway to get some groceries but I always ended up appreciating the lovely cakes 🎂

During my recent visit, I noticed that they had a lot of self-checkout machines available, making it easy and convenient to complete my shopping quickly. The machines were user-friendly, and the process was smooth and efficient.

In addition to the self-checkout machines, I was impressed with how clean the store was. The floors were spotless, and the shelves were well organized, making it easy to find what I needed. The aisles were clear and free from clutter, which made it easy to navigate the store without feeling overwhelmed.

Safeway in Union City, CA is always open, stocked, clean and friendly staff ready to serve.

Absolutely impressed about this place. Usually when i shop at safeway there is no one able to help you find an item. But at this place i was walking with my husband around the aisles looking for an item and not able to locate it. At an inside aisle register station, a young guy who was the cashier at that moment just finish with one client and my husband asked him politely if he knows what ails is the product we were looking foot. This guy. not just pointed us , he came with us to ensure we find the item and he returned quickly to the next client on line at his register. I WAS SURPRISED ABOUT HIS OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE I NEVER GET AT ANY OF THIS COMPANY STORES! I forgot his name, i do apologize but this guy really deserves a best front spot , he is really helpful. Great job !🤗🙏👍

Nathan was stocking cases of water on the display outside but stopped to help me look for an item but as usual there was no stock on a sale item he
was a very courteous n helpful he reminded me of how Safeway use to be when the checker would help the customer Thank You again Nathan

A variety of everything you need (food wise) under 1 roof. The staff is very welcoming, and their prices are a bit above average makes it worth it, because everything is fresh!! Cleanly atmosphere, a deli right inside the store. Also- a Starbucks for your delight whilst getting shopping outta the way.

This Safeway location is very helpful and they work very hard to accommodate their customers and workers. I have been going to this location with my family for about a year now and I have to say that they are all amazing! Tasha, Brittany, And Levi work so hard to make sure everyone is helped, if you need something they are well prepare to give you guide you and assist in any way. I have seen them deal with a lot of attitudes from people and they have anyways handle each situation accordingly and pleasantly. They never give up on there customers or staff. It’s amazing and feels great to see that people still care. You also feel protected at this location which is very much needed. They definitely deserve something special for all of there time, effort, and hard work. Thank you guys so much!!!

Good selection of products and I love that it's open longer. They have small useful kitchen items that I never knew I needed. I do like exploring grocery stores and Safeway is my regular grocery run

The store has a lot of different items that you can buy for the demographic area. For me, that's great. More of my type of food, which is Asian.

I go early in the morning and got some pasta salad along with my weekly food. I like not having to wait in long lines

It has a pharmacy that is certified to do vaccinations.

The deli department is amazing! They are always friendly and help me out when I am ordering catering trays for work. They have accommodated me several times when I put in last minute orders. If you have never looked into Safeway catering trays, check them out! They have some really amazing options!

Great store, all Safeway stores usually well organized

I was much satisfied walking in the store seems like they have a whole crew of new workers. Shelves were stocked pretty well very nice to see the employees cleaning the carts on the outside.

They have the best bakery products I must say. Lot of options for cake and other dairy and food items. Much clean and hygienic than other grocery stores.
