My sons and I were looking at the watches and the sales lady was very friendly, informative and was detail oriented. It has been a while since I've spoken to a department store clerk in the manner with which she's poke with us and she included my young sons in the conversation. I remember when most sales clerks were like her, now she is a rare commodity.

Good customer service . Good service with patience explaining available products. Having neatly maintained wash rooms.

The online shopping is so convenient as well as in store shopping, great deals and staff are so polite.

Got some good deals, Levi 501s and 511s for a really great price.

Great customer service! Have never had any issues with returns. Staff is always willing to help find anything you’re looking for. Sometimes the place is a bit dirty but I blame customers. But majority of the time you can find what you’re looking for.

Since I walk at Montclair Place on a daily basis I go into penny's often. Cashiers are always friendly and helpful. The clothes in the misses and petit departments are a disappointment though, every article of clothing looks the same, the buyer needs more imagination when it comes to different styles. I struggle to find an article of clothing to buy. I mostly stay in the jean area. The store is very clean and orderly. Great purse selection.

Well organized. I was able to find the clothing items I was looking for! Cutbacks have reduced the number of employees so do not expect any customer assistance on the floor. Expect to wait at checkout!

"Rediscovered" JC Penney and had the best customer service! I bought some items online and picked them up curbside 2/24. The gentleman who brought out my purchase was beyond friendly. I really hope management checks reviews because this person is a treasure and definitely reflects well you all. If any other employees are half as nice as he was I'll be happy to make this store the first place I shop for my household.

They have really nice clothes.. I bought my mom a blouse and 2 pairs of pants for Mother's Day, the ones she actually like, and l also bought myself a blouse.. Mother's Day gift for me..lol

Excellent service and well organized

This is now one of my go to spots to shop, name brand clothes and they are even nice enough to not place sensors on most items. It is so frustrating when you go home and have the tag stuck to your clothes.

The store is back with popular demand with prices no one can beat.
