This place does full justice to its name 😀 and of course deserves 5 on 5, precisely because I came here to buy fish and I got just the specific one I was looking for (Rohu), they have various other types of fishes you can choose from.
Great place to buy fresh lamb & goat meat plus their fresh meat section has quite a variety.
Fully stocked up and they have an Indian sweet counter at the back of the store which is great. Good selection of fresh veggies to choose from.

Yes this is a little India. Name is so appropriate. Fresh vegetables, fresh meats are available here and Lots of required spices are also here. You will get everything from this place. Mishti doi, Sandesh, rosogolla and many others sweets are available here. Love this shop.

Name is so apt. Yes, this shop is a little India. One stop shop for everything. This is my first store I have visited in Minneapolis, so can't compare with other stores. I love the sweets most.

Overall it is a nice store. I would recommend 👍

Tip: For fresh vegetables visit on Tuesday and Friday ☺

I love this place. My main purchases are their lassi from the dairy fridge, canned Alfonso mango, and then I grab all sorts of other fun stuff from their wide selection. They have both imported food and products as well as Indian-American and continental versions. I see the Indian food they sell at Cub Foods here as well as things I’d only find shipped online. They have an amazing sweets case with tons and tons of stuff to try, and wonderful bilingual staff who were happy to explain the different treats to me, give me a sample, and assemble a sampler plate to bring home. I love their dry staples, get lots of rice and dal for great prices. They also have simply the best assortment of bulk spices. Nearly anything you could want, from conventional American spices to authentic Indian and East African and Mexican. Cannot complain.

Have previously not had a great produce experience there and haven’t tried their butcher, though their produce has looked fresher lately. I’m pleased they sell good looking banana leaf and a few other niche items and will try those in the future.

Recommend!

This is one of the best stocked Indian grocery stores in the state. They have a huge selection of spices, dried goods, beans and rice, condiments, oils, fresh meat, fruits and vegetables and frozen foods.

This store has been in the Northeast neighborhood for many many years. It's well maintained and the staff is friendly. Convenient for this in the public housing building across the street and a wide variety of options . Two thumbs up for Little India International Market 👍 👍

Always good to go here for my quick Indian food needs. Very efficient when paying and checking out the groceries. The produce has the best pricing however make sure to eat asap. Also bring a reusable bag if you don't want to be charged per bag, for the city of Minneapolis charges .05 per bag.

I had read some reviews about this place. Most of them had issues with expiry date of the products. So I checked the dates before buying anything. I did not find expired products, but it's always better to be vigilant.
I gave this place 5 stars, because one can find nearly everything for cooking. They had great range of spices, masalas, wheat, besan etc etc. Cup noodles, top Ramen, sweets, haldiram precooked meals..
I was extremely satisfied with the products they had in one place. Price also seemed reasonable to me. Best purchase was basmati rice, which turned out to be really good. I really liked the place.

Great grocery store! They especially have an excellent selection of beans/legumes. I slightly prefer Fresh India (Woodbury) for fresh produce and ready-made food, but as far as dried goods, Little India is my go-to store.

Our favorite place for authentic Indian groceries and where we get staples like basmati rice and paneer. We just tried some frozen veggie my Momo's that were very good. Lots of options for herbs and curry pastes. Plus the owners/staff are nice and are helpful.

Have been looking for a very long time for fresh fenugreek to make ghormeh sabzi. Not only do they have it, but it's super fresh and I am told always available. All of the produce looked great!

The rest of the store was wonderful as well, much larger than most, with countless products. So many that it would take more than a lifetime to try them all. Come here soon, come here often, tell your friends.

Definitely a market to shop to stock up hard-to-find spices, meats, and ingredients for meals that you're ready to prepare. Especially like their thin sliced beef for making jerky on my wood pellet grill and dried sweet tamarind. Great prices .... a must to check out!
