Eastside Food Co-op

The produce is incredibly fresh, everything there is touched with care and effort. I had one situation with the credit card that was charged on a card. I did not intend for it to be charged on, and they were incredibly helpful! Over the phone. Some of the most gracious kind people I have ever seen in a grocery store.

I recently visited this cool little store. They had a good selection of local farm goods including dairy, produce, baked goods, and more. I will note that some items were very expensive (Which could be affected by winter). There was even a place for compost, and water refills. The workers were very friendly. I am a fan, recommended.

This is a great place to stop and get something healthy to eat. There is a juice bar and smoothie bar as well as coffee. I used to stop here for Lunch when I was working for the city of Minneapolis. I had quite a few projects over the years in Nordeast. There are clean bathrooms here and a nice place to sit at a table and eat. There is a nice salad bar and they also make sandwiches and burritos. There is a great selection of Kombuchas. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I Love our coop! I’m a teeny tiny part owner since its inception and loved it then and love it more now since it’s expansion. Fun, friendly, always smells wonderful, delicious, and reasonable.

Decent hot food bar which can be so clutch when you need a last second meal but it’d be nice to see healthier options. They had something with shortening in it the other day. Otherwise it's a good layout, and if you're not familiar with the various Co Ops they offer almost anything you'd find at any other location but the fun thing is that each location (Seward, Mississippi Market, LakeWinds, etc) offers something different or unique and it's worth checking them all out. Eastside is a great spot and the neighborhood seems to really rally around this place

I love this place. We recently stopped in to get sandwiches from the deli and everything was delicious! They also have a great grocery selection!

Grand experience Shopping here..from oils to healing remedies to all natural foods..delicious cheese and kombochi's! Everything's natural..great gift ideas for the Holidays..and has a small restaurant deli inside store for a quick bite! Took many photos so you can see natural products..I get meats and oils here..great place and reasonably priced items! Staff friendly and will help you find specific things you need..also can help with ideas for ailments..very knowledgeable!

I got the chicken burrito, which was awesome! Chipotle charges the same for one of their burritos, but you can't even compare the two. Also, kombucha prices were lower here than anywhere else I've seen.

Vibrant grocery store and I appreciate that they label everything with where it is sourced from. Street parking is fine depending on time of day. The coffee shop inside is bustling!

I shop there all the time for organic fruit and vegetables.
The people are always nice and very helpful. Then I usually stay and get food from their food bar or fridge or even have a coffee or/ and dessert. I love this place!!!!

Great atmosphere, shopping experience, customer service and products. It is especially a great experience for WIC shoppers. Much more accurate labels, good stock of WIC eligible items, and the cashiers understand how WIC works so they can help when a transaction doesn't go as planned. Much better than my other experiences.

Fabulous local Co-op. Supports local farmers, cheese companies, from scratch pastries, fresh fruit and vegetables, (unique varieties). Great little salad bar, hot food bar and soup selection. Remember to bring your empty egg carton so you can hook up with some eggs sold individually - can't be beat the flavor!

Almost back to what the norm was before Covid... cashiers are still wearing masks and half of the customers too. The hot buffet is back up for ready to eat meals. Today there was vegetarian options and non-vegetarian. Very good Swedish meatballs with a creamy sauce. I'm not a fan of the chicken pot pie. Overloaded with peas, in fact should be called cream of pea potpie. Very, very disappointing 😞.
Plenty of homemade pastries that look excellent. Again, vegan or not.

Eggs are so fresh from the Farmer's, yummy. I had a cup of curry, onion soup- fabulous. I wasn't impressed with the tofu and veggies, not my favorite. Bakery selection always excellent. Random bulk veggies are also 👍. Today is 20 percent off for seniors!! How can a senior not be happy?? Bonus.

I love this shop for everything….especially their cheese section…it’s the best in the state of MN, so if you love cheese, you will appreciate the selections that they have…

I love their Coffee, Juice and Smoothie Bar. I also enjoy the Deli area, in the back of the store! They have sandwiches, burritos and other food selections.

Love how many healthy and vegetarian options there are! Good clean food you can trust!

My favorite part of this store is their bulk section. Lots of selection, which I really appreciate! There are generally great snack and drink choices as well, which I like to get as a treat sometimes!

I am always happy with the service I get from employees at Eastside Co-op, be it on the phone when I order ahead or in person.
This weekend, I was especially impressed with Dominic at the meat department. He was the epitome of outstanding customer service with a wealth of knowledge. He said they were out of what I needed but recommended alternative cuts of meat, suggested best ways to cook it to approximate the taste and texture of the cut I originally wanted. Great listener, responded directly to my stated and implied needs and left me better informed with several options!
