First of all the gimbap is an amazing deal! They give you two rolls for $7. I would come back just for that.

The stir fried squid is alright. Good flavor but the main star of the dish is the zucchini, cabbage and onions. There really wasn’t much squid in there but for the price point it was acceptable.

I received a side of rice and some banchan which I didn’t expect. They don’t offer any water service from what I could see.

This is the best place I know of to get some Korean Foods. Hand down the best. The price are great, the portions are very generous and the service are great at where prices need to be. And for anyone who complained the service was spotty? Go eat at a restaurant where it's expensive and spotty portions and expecting(forcing) you to give a 15%-25% tip on top. For anyone like me who just want a great foods at a great price. This is it.

Return visit since Pandemic. Entrees well seasoned & generous portions. Only banchan offered were kimchee, tofu slices & bean sprouts. Eat-in orders served in styrofoam containers. Food very authentic Korean cuisine & pleasing to palate. Lady taking order at walk-up-counter helpful & hospitable. Prices have slightly increased since Pandemic. This small eatery behind an Asian Food Market is a hidden foodie delight.

This is really a hidden gem. It's so hidden if you don't know, you would never guess there's a restaurant in this grocery store. It's an authentic Korean restaurant. The ingredients are so fresh, they get it right from the grocery store lol. I really love their Korean BBQ short ribs. It is so yummy. Kinda don't want to write this review in case this place becomes to busy. This place to me is one of the top Korean restaurants in the twin cities.

Amazing grocery store to shop at. The prices are significantly higher. The items are very well organized. The aisles are always clean and organized. But, it is very tight. You will not be able to pass each other if you and someone else has a cart in an aisle. The snacks are phenomenal and the restaurant inside here is incredibly good. One of the better Korean restaurants in Minnesota. Overall, we always have a great experience here.

This place is my FAVORITE!! The haemul pajeon is crispy and tender, the japchae is flavorful and perfectly bouncy with crispy veggies, and the bulgogi is wonderfully savory and balanced. You can really tell everyone here makes food with love. The cashiers are so kind! I come here every time I'm in town and dream of it when I'm home!

Always a pleasure to come here and eat and shop. The owners are nice, and the lady that runs the kitchen has such a hard-working person. The food is a legit taste of Korea. Will definitely come here again!

Lovely Yukgaejang brisket stew, Dong Yang has some of Korean food in the Twin Cities. It’s in the very back of the market and you cannot see it from the street.

Tucked back away from Central in the farthest part of the strip malls parking lot is an amazing grocery & Korean deli. Their food is savory, authentic and spot on. I recommend spicy pork, their barbecued beef, seasoned fish cake, seasoned bean sprout, and gimbap.

Great selection of noodles, rice, fish, frozen foods, bottle drinks, spices, kitchen ware, candy, pasteries, cooking supplies, bulk foods like rice, bowls (they have super cute bowls and cups with cats painted on) and more! And a nice walk up counter where you can order food. So much to see! Highly recommend!

This place is my fave for natto. They have amazing organic natto that is to die for and it's so close to my house I go often. I appreciate their wide selection of all sorts of foods and housewares. The restaurant in the back is FABULOUS.

A friend brought me to this great little restaurant hidden in the back of a grocery store. You can’t see it when you walk in the store, but you can definitely smell it.

I had the spicy pork and vegetables. It was seriously spicy which I really appreciate. It was really good and was enough to take some home and eat for 2 more meals. One friend had the jajangmyeon which is a noodle dish with black bean sauce, mushrooms, and pork. That was really good, too. The sauce is almost sweet and it’s very umami and rich. Other friend had the bibimbap and said he really enjoyed it. Of course they all came with the standard kimchi and pickled veggies for condiments. We also got the dumplings and the kimbap for the table. The dumplings were pretty good but not out of this world. The kimbap is never had before and it’s like a Korean sushi - with veggies, rice, and some kind of protein wrapped in a seaweed wrapper.

Would definitely go back and would like to try more of their food. Prices were low, too, and we were able to get several things we wanted from the grocery while we were there

Best Korean shop in town. Great variety, with lots of kimchi and banchan made fresh. The deli in the back is legit with great authentic dishes and something for everyone. Tons of snacks and treats, and a hella decent ramen selection. Also, check out the canned Korean Tuna options.

Found a new love for ethnic groceries. Sometimes, I just need my fix of Korean food and ingredients. There is a wonderful eatery attached to the back of the store. I usually order ahead and pick up the food as the dining room is usually packed. I cannot rave enough of the good food selections. On the way home, I usually walk away with at least one pack of Ramen, seaweed soup mixes, and flavor oils such as sesame or perilla.

If you're craving Korean food, this is the place to go get your korean dishes. They have a variety of food selections, from seafood to tteok-bokki to noodles. Its a bit tight inside but you wont be disappointed at the selection of ingredients. The restaurant inside is first come first serve. The food is as authentic as you can get. Extremely well made food and its worth trying every dish to satisfy your Koren cravings. The restaurant is quite possibly the best Korean place around the metro area. The employees are nice and its really up to you to figure out what you like since the employees dont know what you like to eat. Solid place to satisfy your Korean hunger. Highly suggest coming here if you want Korean food.

Probably my favorite Korean spot. Food is always what I'm looking for: great taste and fresh looking vegetable sides. We got our usual Bibimbap, kalbi, bulgogi and dumplings. Then, shopped around the mart for a great selection of sauces and snacks.

Still my favorite pancakes in town, and although it was a warm day, spicy soup hit the spot. Staff is short, yet food was prepared in a timely effort with the same quality flavors and large portion. No more self-serving water, but you can purchase bottled water or pop.

A wonderful feel and taste of home-cooked meal.

I went here with my friends who also happen to be Korean. From the pictures you can see that we sampled the whole menu. I am Nigerian by origin and I was thrilled by the flavor and the spice. I'm sure I will go back by myself without my friends. Everything was amazing. My favorite dish was the spicy squid. If there are any spicy food lovers reading this, try that dish!
