I do the majority of my shopping at Safeway for several reasons. The quality of produce, the freshness of dairy and meat, and the prices. Love the new refrigerators for dairy products and alcohol items. Great staff very helpful and friendly. Love 5 dollar Friday's.

Always a great experience when I shop at Safeway. Today I was able to save an additional $20 off my grocery bill. After signing up thru the App.

It's Christmas eve and the butcher and meat department is KILLING IT!!! They're being so helpful and attentive to the myriad of customers coming up to the counter, and evennthe ones just browsing the pre-packaged meat section. Just wanna take time this holiday season to say thanks and great job!

Man the people working at the deli are so great, especially the men working there, always so helpful.

I have worked with numerous agents and thought I had been lucky and got to experience the BEST in the business. Until I met Julia and got to experience the BEST of the rest!! Immediately makes you feel like TOP priority, listens to the details, none too big or small, extremely knowledgeable of the area and the differences between AZ and CA as 1st time in CA. I usually have a positive experience here. They're pretty good about stocking except for sale items that may be all gone. Prices are higher than some other places but it's within walking distance so this is my dinner ingredient fulfillment center. They have added 2 more self check registers so less waiting.
Update 9/23/2022: The produce is mostly fresh and good.
Update 4/18/2023: Go early for less shoppers. Most of the employees could be a bit more friendly and pretend that they are happy to see you. A few are very pleasant and helpful.

Fresh meats, fresh produce, nice sale prices, good food in the deli, great cheese & wine selection. Love the broccoli & cheddar soup. Very good made to order sandwiches or if pressed for time, a large variety of premade sandwiches, entrees & ala carte items. Plus the bakery has delicious desserts & fresh bread.

I wanted to highlight a fanatic Starbucks Safeway employee. I didn’t get her name on her apron but she brightened my day! It made me so fustrated with myself that I didn’t have extra cash on hand to tip her so I hope a positive review can do a little something to affirm her excellent customer service. I went in on Saturday April 16, 2022 around 9AM. Whichever individual was working the Starbucks during that time is one of THE BEST Starbucks employees that I have ever come across — such a warm, kind and conversational exchange! You rock!!!

Floral manager was very helpful very professional with the warm smile. She helped me out to buy flowers for my friend thank you Lorena.

I don't regularly shop here but I'm thinking of switching from Nob Hill. Safeway has a decent section of organic produce and they always seem to have good sales on things I like. They have a much better selection than at Nob, as well. It's neat and clean. Plus the staff have been quite nice. I think I just convinced myself to shop here more often.

Great selection, a bit more expensive than Wal Mart, but it's great for finding great bread or tortillas, things you can't find at W-M, really good butcher department and lovely fruit and vegetables offerings. Much more varied offerings than the cheaper stores.

They always have what I'm looking for. So I want have to drive to the other side of town. To Walmart lol employees are always friendly and polite. Love that they have the Amazon Lockers there as well. Very convenient when you not home to get your Amazon package

This Safeway is huge! I got a little lost looking for stuff but that's only because I'm not from around here, and it was my first visit. But their aisles are marked very well!

This store was completely clean and had social distancing marked in every aisle and checkout lane. The employees were nice and so were the customers. I loved that they had a Starbucks inside, who were following covid guidelines as well.

I would love if this was my Safeway back at home.

The deals are always what I need at Safeway! It's a one stop shop! I suggest everyone sign up for free membership. The perks are well worth it. My last trip was 48 cents! As you shop you can accumulate points for gas or free groceries. I'm very pleased with Safeway.

This Safeway is great! It's big, clean and has a great selection in every department. The prices are reasonable while everyone else is raising their prices Safeway tries to keep theirs affordable. Awesome job guys! Keep up the amazing work.

Safeway is always clean, organized and great staff. Always will take the time the let you know where items are. Ever since new facelift of the store it's just that much more nicer. Kind of busy in the late afternoon but what do you expect. Later evening is much more quieter and can't say enough of the staff, great people.

Since covid19 hit all of us, to keep up with the social distancing during this time,
I found myself grocery shopping at Safeway between the hours of 11 pm thru 2 am!
(Safeway closes @ 2 am & reopens at 6 am)
I found shopping this time frame at Safeway is the most favorable time for myself to shop!
I loved it & I still love it!
True, the pharmacy, bakery, flower shop departments are closed during the time frame I shop at Safeway and that's okay!
I work around this!
I just enjoy the atmosphere at Safeway during this time frame!
I find it's very beneficial in helping my PTSD condition! I am more relaxed & a bit more free of stress! I do make sure that I finish my shopping before Safeway closes at 2 am!

Been shopping here weekly since the first day this location opened, almost 20 years ago. Fantastic store. Great, hard working, helpful employees. Clean and well maintained building. They clearly recognize food safety standards and train according to those guidelines. Happy to call this my neighborhood store.

Great store. Especially good produce. Good vegan source. Plenty of parking. Vast selection including some items you might think you wouldn't find except in a specialty store. Checkers are excellent and nice besides!
