Safeway

I love going to Safeway, it is the only place I enjoy shopping for groceries at. They have so many healthy and delicious items here and the employees are very kind. 10/10 top favorite grocery store of all time. I’ve probably spend over $4000 shopping for groceries a year so far.

Always enjoy coming to this store mainly because the staff in the deli department are always helpful and nice and very sociable. They are very knowledgeable about the types of meat and cheeses they have and will let you know what pairs well together. I’ve seen them interact with customers who have no clue what to buy or what kind of cut they need or how many pounds, ask them questions until they are almost certain of what the customer intended to buy that day. Great store and great staff. Always clean, always stocked and never a bad experience.

I have been shopping at this Safeway since 2007. I use to primarily shop at Whole Foods and then at Safeway on Yulupa. I mainly buy all organic produce, but I could only find certain organic fruits and vegetables at this Safeway.
Since Safeway has made such improvements in the variety of organic produce, I now go to Safeway for most all of my produce!
It is the best place in Sonoma county for freshness & a wide variety of choices.
The layout in this store in the organic section is very inviting and well kept!!

Very expensive grocery store. The sale prices often aren’t reflective of the actually retail process of things. They’re one of the cleanest and freshest stores in Santa Rosa though. Food, produce, and floral is always very fresh. You get what you pay for I guess!

Really like there Member deals and Rewards. The Safeway App is easy to use, including on the fly 🙂, the search function is good, shopping list is accessible and you can check stuff off.

I want to shout out Felix. I waited at the the deli and was passed by several employees. I saw him putting stock away and he noticed me waiting, and jumped to help me out. Thanks for the help dude!

The Safeway here in bennett valley is a nice, quiet grocery store to shop at.
The only time I see it busy is from 3-5 in the afternoon after everyone is off work and on there way home, and there is still little wait time while your waiting to be checked out.
The only thing I don't like about the store is that they are a smaller store so they don't have everything that the regular size stors have.
But in all its a nice store to go walk around and do your shopping. And they also have a half off rack in the back by the pharmacy that is always stocked with the treats from the day before from the bakery. And they are as fresh and tasty as the day before.

I’ve shopped at this Safeway for 30 years and feel these employees are the best. Safeway’s policy regarding propane tanks need some revision. We got 3 Amerigas propane tanks, connected the first one, used it with no problems. When the propane ran out, we connected the second tank, it leaked propane. We took the tank back and were told we must have the receipt, period end of story. That transaction was months ago. I’ll fill my tanks at the gas station from now on.

Friendly service they always have what I need great place to shop for all your grocery needs and more

I am currently enjoying working for Safeway, I work at the store on Marlow road. It's a great location for me since I currently don't drive, I can walk to work.
I love the people I work with, they're so kind and helpful.

It's just a Safeway, so not much that's special. But, they do have a nice endcap display of local beers. Now, they might stretch the definition of "local", in that they have beers from Sacramento in the mix, but they do have a pretty decent selection of beers from Santa Rosa breweries. Cooperage, Old Possum, Henhouse, 3rd Street.
Now, I've never seen a beer from Russian River Brewing here, nor one from Plow Brewing. But, they do have lots of beers that I've never tasted before that have been quite good.

I have been a customer at this Safeway location for 20+ years. Like most Safeway/Albertson stores it is delightfully mediocre and I love it. The employees have always been very kind over the years.

Went on a Instacart shop, found everything in perfect time well organized and friendly staff

Has alot of variety and selection. Some sections such as the Asian section is a bit smaller compared to other Safeway sites but still very good overall.

It was late and cold on Valentines day and my girlfriend locked us out of her car so we went into Safeway for warmth. Standing next to the rotisserie chickens did the trick while we waited and figured out what to do, and no one told us to leave.

Stocked shelves, prices good, plenty parking, safe to shop

They are the only store that sells my favorite bread. Its called, " Rise and live". Its has fermented grains in it. That means you get probiotics in it

Very clean friendly staff also the Chinese food mmmm good.

I Personally like this store, people are knowledgeable and friendly, overall they have most things in stock. Prices are a bit high but not crazy

Always has what i need, really like their bakery, not enough cold white wines, but I am working on it .
