Safeway

The 4th St Safeway is my favorite Safeway in Santa Rosa. It is close to where I live and I never have trouble finding a place to park. Customer service there is consistently top notch. The restrooms are easy to find and clean. The produce section is well stocked with fresh vegetables and fruit and very inviting, the way it is laid out. Sometimes I stop by just to get a few items like some cereal that I like, milk, eggs and usually some pet food. I am in and out quick. They also have a variety of gift cards. I use them to shop online. Sometimes I get sandwiches in the Deli. Come to think of it, this is a great all around store.

I've had consistently positive experiences at Safeway, and I'm more than happy to leave a 5-star review.

Safeway is my go-to grocery store for several reasons. First and foremost, they have an extensive selection of products, covering everything from fresh produce to household items. It's a one-stop-shop that saves me time and energy.

The quality of their produce and groceries has always been top-notch, and I appreciate their commitment to offering a variety of organic and locally sourced options. The bakery and deli sections are particularly impressive, with a wide range of delicious treats and prepared foods.

Additionally, the staff at Safeway has always been helpful and friendly. Whether I have a question about a product or need assistance finding something, they are readily available and eager to assist.

Safeway's loyalty program and digital coupons make shopping even more convenient and cost-effective. I've saved a lot using their deals and discounts.

Lastly, their cleanliness and organization are remarkable. The store is consistently well-maintained, making the shopping experience pleasant and stress-free.

All in all, Safeway is a reliable and customer-focused grocery store that I highly recommend. It's a five-star destination for all my grocery needs.

I loved the place. everything was in order, friendly staff. The young lady who took care of western union was smart, knowledgeable and a total professional. Make the place your grocery hub! Congrats management! Shop there!

I go here to get lunch when I'm working and I love the fresh mixed fruit bowls. I can also go to Starbucks and the bank all in one trip so that is a plus. I like earning points for every dollar I spend too towards my gas savings. With gas cost going up continually every penny saved counts.

By far the best grocery store I've ever been for into my life blowing Kroger out the water blowing Walmart out the water staff is incredible coupons would be a great gift. Cold chicken is really good

They always have my favorite beer! The store was clean and my cashier was very talkative and sweet! Loads better than other Safeways!

Got somecsandwuchs made fir granson and I. Young man behind counter very nice guy great to talk to. Our sandwiches were great.

This location is very convenient and it's open till late. Parking lots are illuminated at night and very clean. Bakery is always super busy, so make sure to count in a couple of minutes when you make a trip to the deli and or bakery area.

This Safeway has all the retail food I need and is well organized like the other Safeway stores.

This particular branch doesn't have as many homeless people as the Safeway branches on Mendocino & Steele or Marlow & Greeneville, which can be intimidating at a minimum or downright frightening at times.

We usually shop at a different Safeway, a couple of miles east of this one. Hey, it's a Safeway. Reliable and easy to find things. My wife still calls it Vons, which is essentially the same store down in San Diego. If you like Vons, you'll like Safeway, and vice versa.

I go here regularly at night to shop. Mello, the night manager, is great. People working are all nice folks. The few times I've been there in the early morning, everyone working is also very friendly. My mom had not felt well one afternoon while shopping and the people working, including Mello, helped make her comfortable while waiting for the ambulance. It was appreciated.

I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about, but I think this Safeway is terrific. The store is clean and tidy, the staff is friendly and courteous, and the store manager is an angel! I asked him for a donation of culled apples, potatoes, and carrots for the Quarryhill Botanical Garden's Earth Day celebration. The children use them to make stamps. He didn't hesitate to oblige! In fact, he went to the back himself to get the items for me. When he couldn't find carrots, he apologized and encouraged me to check back the next day! Heck! He was doing me a favor! He certainly didn't have to apologize! He gave me a half-full box of apples and potatoes, which was so very generous!
I have no complaints whatsoever about this store. It's my neighborhood grocery and it will stay that way!

This place has had a big improvement over the years, it must have great management. This is probably the nicest/cleanest safeway in sonoma County, which unfortunately isn't saying much.

Brennon and Brendon (sp?)
were absolutely great at dealing with a customer who refused to wear a mask! This customer claimed she had just been released from the hospital, and I worried because I was right behind her in line. They were polite , yet firm, and completely professional!!
This is my “go to” Safeway, and every single clerk who was working tonight was kind and professional! Kudos to you, Safeway on Fourth St in Santa Rosa , CA. !!!! You all are awesome!!! 👍🏼👏🏼👍🏼😘

If you forgot to pick up that extra bottle of wine at one of the local wineries then head over here and browse the awesome selection of wine from local wineries. Approximately three aisles of wine! Go for the wine and pick up the rest of your groceries too.

I have gone to Safeway for many years, even when I was a kid went shopping with my Dad. They have good deals. The store is clean and it is easy to find items. The employee's are friendly and very helpful. Go shop at Safeway. 😉
