We were out of towners stuck during Thanksgiving and stopped in here for lunch and a drink. We sat out back on the patio enjoying the view of the river til we got too cold. First of all - this might have been the best chicken pot pie I’ve had, and I’ve had a few. Secondly, everyone who worked there was beyond hospitable and so great. I don’t know if I’ll ever be back in New Jersey but if I am I’m B-lining it here to eat another pot pie 🐷

Nice little spot to grab a yummy lunch before hitting the park. Very nice staff. The shrimp bisque was bangin' and the kale salad with the roasted sweet potatoes was perfect.

Came here after touring a museum in Trenton on the way up to Lambertville and New Hope. Sat outside and enjoyed a lovely broccoli soup along with a pork roll burger. Sitting outside along the canal is beautiful and you get to see the views of the bridge along with varied vehicular traffic. Superb service by staff and such quaint ambience. Well worth a drive up that brings about a selection of alcoholic drinks along with great entrees. Definitely check this establishment out!

Hello! I went to Patriots - totally forgot about this place, have not been in a very long time. The food is amazing. We went here after a stressful day and left feeling much better, after a solid meal. Buffalo shrimp- delicious . Wings -delicious . I got the monte cristo sandwich with cheddar cheese and sweet potato fries - I am very picky and it was really everything I expected . I want to thank Kayleigh( hope I spelled that correctly ), for being a wonderful, kind server ! Highly recommend!

It was one of the days, and 6 of us needed to eat, but it was late. We got to the restaurant at 8:45 and they told us the kitchen closed at 9 pm. By the time we could order it was 8:55. I was expecting them to say no. But they took everyone's order. The food was great. 6 very happy customers. There were even some great gluten-free options.

Tasty Spring Rolls appetizer (photo), great burger, pulled pork Sandwich (photo), and very nice deck for outdoor dining. Our server, Scott, was just what you want: friendly and helpful, but not intrusive or impatient. We will be back.

Good food, good service. Staff is friendly. Wide variety on the menu. Not a great deal of parking, so not sure what to do when there is a large crowd.

My husband and I ate here for a late lunch on Saturday. It was a very warm day for the end of October, we sat outside. They were very very busy but the waiter (I wish I knew his name) was very very good in spite of complaining/demanding costumers. The food was great, I had a burger and he had a fall special. It was nice overlooking the canal and the bridge.

Yummy and Great Experience!

Stumbled across Patriot's Crossing after the Washington Crossing visitor's center closed; the game was on and everyone was welcoming.

My salad was filling and delicious; my cocktail was refreshing; and the bartender knew everybody and had some great dining tips for the area!

All around great experience. Thank you!

If I could give (10) ten stars I would!! First let me say I use to ride my bike on the canal path with my children then 5 and 7, now 25 and 27. This is where we would stop to eat lunch and my children would feed the ducks.

Today my amazing husband and I did a day date and went to see the re enactment of George Washington crossing the Delaware. We decided to stop for lunch here! This was the most Y U M M I L I C I O U S lunch in like ever!

The meatloaf sandwich OMG OMG! I almost forgot that it was the meal my husband ordered🤣🤣. I ordered the chicken pot pie. Another OMG OMG moment! Desert was criminal, almost made me want to commit a food felony😂😂😂 I love chocolate and they made a delish chocolate mousse cake with whipped topping on the side!

Big big shout out to our waiter “Colby” super friendly and attentive! The place was busy but we were seated very quickly, and he made sure we were happy ccustomers!

We will be returning on a regular basis. This will be our go to spot to meet friends when we are in the area!

Thank you Patriot Inn!!!!!!

Service was great, Food was amazing. I wasn't expecting to be blown away by a place that looks like this from outside. This is the pinnacle for the saying you really can't judge a book by its cover. Will be back.

Great lunch experience! Had the soup and a salad special. Delicious! Reasonable prices and portions were big. Nice beer selection and really friendly service. Service wasn't super fast but we weren't in a rush. Pleasantly surprised and will definitely go back.

Nice place, good people, good food, good beer. The fries have been a little disappointing this year. Better to get wonderful sweet potato fries as a substitute.

The views off the back porch at dinner time are beautiful. While this is also a bottle shop, the food is shockingly good. Staff is sweet. Great place to unwind after a long week. Parking is limited, but you can always park your car in the Washington Crossing Park and take the one minute walk to the restaurant. You can enter through the liquor store at the back or through the front door that faces River Road. Take a walk on the canal to get some exercise after dinner.
Perfection. Totally a 10/10.

This place is great, a new family favorite. We’ve been there twice and enjoyed everything we’ve ordered. Good eats, cheap beer, lovely patio, friendly service—there’s even an adjoining liquor store!

Simple place with a lot of heart. What would be standard pub fare — burgers, wings, chips and guac — had that extra something you might call fresh or homemade or just delicious. The deck offers lovely views of the canal and river, and the revolving comedy of traffic passing on the supremely narrow Washington Crossing bridge kept my family entertained the whole time. Best part, our server was tops. Overheard a couple things from our conversation and provided without us having to ask. Made us comfortable and joked around easily. All around solid experience. Definitely worth stopping in.
