In CVS on 500 W 42nd street, all the staff are always friendly and helpful. Lucky is always smiling and cheerful, she has been always guiding me well for 2 years now. My favorite items are always available with good deals, as the prices are a little expensive without deals.I am receiving good offers and great prices with care pass. Self checkout is not crowded and applicable. My medications are easily refilled through the app. and delivered without the need to contact any pharmacist(thank God!).

Lovely staff, very attentive and polite.
I was prescribed medications for my worsened asthma. Came here on Saturday after a notification and got 3/4 medications within 15 minutes. They offered to transfer fourth one to another pharmacy, as it was out of stock.

As my insurance declined one inhaler (they’re pricey), pharmacist kindly made a discount (which was around $15).

I also purchased a few skincare items, in-store staff helped a lot with their advice

This CVS store has been so helpful since I arrived my first day last Saturday. Today is Wednesday my last day in New York City and every time that I visited this store everyone was so helpful. Providing the best customer service and giving me the right direction. Did not matter if was during the day or night they were there to help me for anything that I was needing. I want to say that they do the best that they can to keep customer satisfaction extremely high. Thank you to everyone at this location for providing me great help. So here is what I find unbelievable about this place. With people complaining that their prescription isn't ready or long lines at the counter, I have never seen a staff of pharmacists so dedicated to saving customers $$$

Just last week I was waiting in line only to overhear one of their amazing pharma-techs ( Maria) telling a customer that her $400 medication was not covered by insurance, but Maria took about 10 minutes to find coupons that saved the woman $300. As if that wasn't enough, the pharmacy manager - I think her name is Karli - found an additional $60 of savings - so the customer was saving $360 that I am sure Duane Reade would have gladly taken

The fact that these 2 were competing to see who could save this customer the most money was both unconventional and refreshing all at the same time,and it's why I won't go anywhere else for my pharmacy needs

You’d be hard pressed to find a better pharmacy than this one. The pharmacy staff here take great care of people.

Good location and it always does what it needs to do!

Placed an online CVSPhoto Order for Same-Day Pickup and it was ready in an hour (your mileage may vary), even though I was quoted for a longer pickup time online.

The Photo counter wasn’t staffed but there were plenty of helpful associates that sent someone over as soon as I asked.

My document was in a secure and sturdy folder and I paid easily at self-checkout.

When CVS arrived to my neighborhood, I thought it was very impersonal thus avoided doing any type of purchases. But the convenient location soon won me over as a customer and today Johanna was very helpful in walking me through the steps of printing photos from my Android phone. Yet, I still needed assistance thus I asked a gentleman-name Jesse and what a wonderful, humane and mindful
experience. It is people like Johanna and Jesse who make a difference in a business and Jesse's humble, respectful, patient and thoughtful attitude make a significant difference in the world. Thank you Jesse for the express lesson on how to print photos from my Android phone.

The store is always clean and it's easy to find things. Grateful to the staff for always being so helpful. Today I went in again and a young lady by the name of D'Avian went out of her way to assist me with a smile. She was patient and positive. The manager was helpful as well and greets customers with a smile. Thank you CVS! This store is one of my favorite locations!

Love this location at 500 West 42nd Street...great customer service, constant sale items, well-stocked, and convenient hours. Also, I love their pharmacy...very helpful staff and always accurate in filling prescriptios. This store is older looking than some places. But, that's a minor thing considering all of their positive points listed above. In contrast, I used to shop and use the pharmacy at Duane Reade. Even though it was a newer and shinier store, their customer service was dismal. And, to get a discount on their points program took forever. At CVS, however, there are sale items and discount coupons every single visit! Their points program is the best! And, the entire staff is always helpful and eager to please. Check them out.

Good location of the store. They have everything, from snacks to drinks to hair care to skin care literally everything you can forget while traveling. Because it is located in front of the Yotel hotel it is a perfect location for a store. Staff members are really friendly and help you with a smile on their face. I really felt comfortable shopping in this store!

I come here occasionally, and the people here are generally helpful and courteous. Today, I needed help from staff a few times more than usual, and it seems the staff went out of their way to flash giant smiles, make notable eye contact, and wish me a good day at the end of our interactions - totally caught me off guard. The pharmacist even wished me an early birthday. Not sure what is up with the world today, but the trip collectively made my day.

Was looking to buy batteries for my thermometer and was unable to open it to see what kind of batteries it needed. It was kinda stuck and I couldn't open it. The person who works there "Jessie" was super helpful. He went out of his way to find the batteries, opened it and installed the batteries himself. Excellent service. Thank you.

Saw all the horrible reviews after I had a prescription transferred there from cvs on w 57th street because they were out of stock. Reviews made me a bit nervous but was in and out of there in minutes with meds in hand. Pharmacist who handled the transfer was quick and efficient. On overall good experience.
