Safeway

This Safeways remodel is the most up-to-date out of the 6 other safeways surrounding my frequent routes. It is quite inviting and roomy! There’s a ton more product displays though, if you don’t enjoy that, probably skip this Safeway if possible.

Today’s visit was great 2 ladies (employees were helping us because their self checkout machine jammed up. So they rechecked us out very quickly. I wished we had gotten their names.

Also this Safeway keeps up with the wing station. Because the others I’ve been to were all dried up. But not this store

This is a review for the Deli staff. Everyone I talked to and worked with was wonderful, accommodating, and very kind! Sandra in particular made my day and helped me immensely! I had a great experience placing a large order with the deli for a work event that I was providing food for. The food was delicious and better than I could have imagined! Clean, great staff. Bought some produce it was fresh and grapes on sale that were delicious. Meat was on sale bought some chicken great price.

The meeting today was fantastic. The self-service checkout machine had broken down, so 2 women from staff came to help us. So, they swiftly rechecked us and let us go. I wish we would have asked about their names.

This Safeway is the cleanest and the employees are so helpful knowledgeable . I think I found a new fav local grocer .

Love my local Safeway and having a great experience at checkout with the friendly staff that makes you feel welcome each time my kids and I are there! We love our Safeway staff!

Yes, I'm reviewing a grocery store. It's two minutes away. Open late. Recently remodeled. Has nearly everything you'd want. The Safeway app has amazing coupons. The employees are nice. All around great!

I go to Safeway a lot for my shopping and pharmacy needs.
They have a large selection of products for every ethnicity
I love the drive up and go feature..The money you spend at Safeway accumulates into discounts at their gas station
up to a dollar off per gallon, which really helps when Washington has the highest gas prices in the nation.Fair prices,great selection..The store is clean and the staff is always there to assist you to find a product...

I have a Safeway store near my home in another state but not like this one! Wow! It opens at 5 a.m. (and I was there!) The produce rivaled the high end grocery stores near me, the aisles were wide, the shelves well stocked and there were three times more self serve check outs that actually work, plus it was in a strip of other stores I would also recommend. Well done Safeway!

Pretty clean and friendly staff, but I really really wish they had the smaller carts and baskets. I find them at every other Safeway but not this one. A minor nuisance, but still seems odd they don't have them

Update: About a week later and they now have plenty of small carts.

Cashiers and manager worked with me (after my purchase) when I forgot to use some coupons. It was time consuming, but they were upbeat and positive the whole time.

Really clean floors, aisles, and storefront. Carts were plentiful and hand baskets. Much more variety of produce than Spanaway or Fern Hill locations. Fully stocked shelves, and meat department. The bakery actually had fresh sourdough bread. Which the other locations almost never do. The staff were happy and helpful. Higher presence of security due to the plandemic, and political leaders allowing lawlessness. Though the security staff was often unseen, so you don't feel like you're an inmate.

Super clean, friendly employees and everything I needed and more was in stock. Wasn’t overly crowded and got a to a cashier and checked out fairly quick.

One of the nice crews in the Puget sound area. The beer and wine selection is great, as is the butcher section. The rest are always clean. There are two Volta Charging stations for those with EVs. The park lot is very large but still can be bus, even midday during the work week.

Lots of folks buying supplies for our big storm coming in. Got some wonderful meat purchases. The check out lines are long, but the checkers and butcher counter staff that I encounter were all so friendly and helpful. Such a pleasant environment to shop in.

I have never had any complaints when visiting this store. They always have everything I need and it is very organized. The employees are really nice and helpful. If you need it they will have it so stop here.

Store is clean and shelves are well stocked. Products are organized and easy to find. They always have discounts and coupons if you’re in the club. Parking lot is a bit hectic at times but the fresh food and savings make it worthwhile.

Wow. Tracy has been cashiering for over 20 years. She is an absolute gem. She chatted with me while ringing up & bagging - she didn't miss a beat! I commented that she must like tetris - everything was placed very well in each bag. Phenomenal! The lady behind me must have thought she was taking too long as she slammed her stuff back in her cart & went over to the next register. Hmmmm wonder how some of her eggs got broken. Patience, sweetie, patience. 🤭
