Safeway

I know safeway costs a few more clams than Walmart but it's a much better much more enjoyable experience than having to endure shelf to shelf shoppers trying to get the better deals before everyone else.

This is by far the cleanest nicest Safeway in Puyallup. The young man who helped me today in the deli was so courteous so helpful. I want to thank him. When I checked out at the self check the little Gal There is so friendly. She has a beautiful hello and goodbye. The store is so clean.

The best grocery store bakery ever! I drove to 3 Safeway’s looking for this particular one. Sooo many compliments on the cake at my 2 year olds birthday party and the price was unbelievable! Thank you so much again Ms. Mabel!

Just like all the other Safeways. A good place to shop if things are on sale but can be rather expensive. They have good pop sales sometime. Buy 2 and get 2 free but those are usually like $6 for a 6 pack of bottles, so it's like 4 for $12. So $3 a piece. So, without the sale, would not buy them there. But the store is always clean and the employees are always very nice and helpful. Always enjoy shopping here and finding the sales.

Pretty clean Safeway and the cashier was super fast

Stopped for gas. .50 cents less then most places. Ran in for coffee but.... Good sale prices turned into a lot more. Friendly staff. So much better than the RUDE person at Albertsons on canyon the week before. The folks there all smiles, kind made sure I had what I needed. Upselled me into buying a lunch there instead of stopping at a fast food place. Was a wonderful salad and sandwich. Better price too.

Safeway has been and always probably will be my favorite grocer. Their meats are top notch their produce is second to none their customer service is top of the line their app is fantastic at discounts and u love the rewards can’t be beat thanks so much Safeway

Love this Safeway, very close to home and they have almost all your grocery needs.
Only downside is sometimes their lanes for checkout are crazy long and go back down the aisles. But the cashiers try their best to get them moving quickly and are usually very pleasant to interact with! The employees here are some of the nicest I've had the pleasure of interacting with compared to most stores.

Very friendly people there. Always seem to be smiling even they are at work.

I played monopoly on the board they gave out before, the attendant informed me it's on the app now. He also told me how to get ten cents off when I buy gas...

This is my favorite Safeway near me. Even though it's not the closest Safeway to my house, I prefer to visit this one because it's cleaner and if I visit at night, I feel like the risk of being jumped is far less likely. I also don't see people just walking out stealing things like I do at all the other Safeways in Tacoma. The store is also better stocked than most the other stores I visit so I don't have to worry as much about them not having something I need.

Easy to get to. Well stocked, even through a huge sale. Had a small issue through the self check out, the attendant was very helpful.

Shout out to the amazing bakery that made this beautiful last minute cake for me. I had no plans of having cake for my birthday or really celebrating, but then my youngest son came to me with the statement that it's not my birthday it's his (it was super cute). I really wasn't sure they would do it or might be annoyed to do it however when I called and asked they were really sweet about it. (I did call in the afternoon and told them 5 for pick up because I wanted to give them as much time as possible)

Safeway is usually competitive pricing and close to home so easy for small item trips..should get Safeway just for u app for better deals

Called the Deli department and asked if they sale fried chicken livers. He asked for me to hold while he check to see if they had some available. He came back and stated that they had some. I came to the store and ordered 2 half pound orders. They were cooked perfect with a down home southern taste. THANK YOU

I've been shopping here ever since the Piggly Wiggly closed down (around 1990 or so)- great staff, they usually have what I'm looking for AND I can usually find it & when I can't, staff helps me! I'd like it if they would resume hiring high school kids to help bag & stock & train as checkers. I don't like self-check out. Hire people, not machines!

This location has the best cake decorator I have ever seen! Betty, the counter lady was very professional and helpful too!

One of my faith Safeway stores it's one of the bigger stores good customer service very helpful and I usually find my products at every visit

Well lit, aisles not too narrow and great staff

Well stocked. Good selection of grab-and-go type foods. A little on the pricey side for staples, but usually decent deals to balance it out.
