This is the second time I’ve been here with a super good experience I forgot to share the first one from a while ago with a lady named MaryJo, that helped me pick out gardening stuff.

Tonight I went in there and a guy by the name of Mike helped me. He recommended these two products, saying they worked for him, like overnight and they’re safe. I like it! I can’t stand the smell of red wine vinegar. I also like that even if there was self checkout (cuz I’m not even positive if they have it) but that there’s still a cashier available all the way til closing! (Unlike Safeway) 😤 also everyone seems very friendly

I think his name was Kevin in plumbing he was so helpful and identified my internals of my toilet instantly from a picture. He knows his stuff. Went back and fixed my leaking toilet following his directions and no more running toiled every hour throughout the night. We need more people and customer service like him. It's such a rare thing anymore. He saved me time money, and I fixed it myself. What more can you ask for? Thanks so much for the knowledgeable staff and recommendation.

The two gentlemen at the plumbing desk fixed me right up! I went to Home Depot and was told, "we don't sell those here". I went to Ace hardware, and the associate tried to help bless their heart. I went to McClendon's and these two old timers helped me fix a known problem throughout society I had never heard of. I couldn't be more thankful except to write a rare 5 star review. Thanks mates!

Best houseplants around! Good variety of houseplants starting at $1.79, $3.49, $9.99. Cannot believe how often they get shipments seems like every other day there’s a new selection! Very trendy whoever does the ordering knows what they’re customers are looking for, today I got a whole bunch of 3 inch pots of different houseplants clearance at one dollar!!! Always amazing customer service I’m a big fan you should definitely check them out

They have everything you need for every project u can think of and the people are very knowledgeable and direct you to the isle and walk you there and help you find what you are looking for

I go here a lot as they have things that the other hardware stores don't have. There have been more than a few times where Home Depot or Lowe's didn't have what I was looking for, so I go to McLendon's, and they have it. I would go there first if it was closer, but I always expect I will be going there at some time during my project. Plus the service is great and you can usually find somebody to help if you need to!

This place is , totally amazing!!! 😍 And the parking situation is seriously, sooo easy to navigate! 🚗💨

I was browsing late night for a new Heater and came across the power zone 1200w led display heater they had listed for 54.99. I'm more than satisfied, display looks great and the heat output on the low setting is insane.

Beth was on the ball. She helped me as soon as I walked in the door. Told her what I wanted and she had 2 others pull my wood decking order and had me loaded and ready within 30 minutes, not to mention the price of the wood and was far less then Home Depots prices . Thank you for all your help.

The most awesome hardware, home and garden store ever! The first time I went, I spent the entire afternoon just exploring the store and all the wonderful things inside. Great deals on veggie/plant starts and an abundant selection. Fair prices and some items were really discounted well.

Needed my lawn mower blade sharpened, been taking it here for the past 2 years.

The employee who initially took care of me was super helpful and pleasant to work with. Usually takes a week for the part to be worked on so when I got a call from David there I was surprised.

They informed me that the blade I had was in bad shape, and although I could get it sharpened, it was probably better to buy a new blade for only $5 more.

David was extremely helpful by telling me when they were at work so I could work with them directly.

Was so happy that David was straightforward, honest and helpful with a better solution for me.

Looks like I found my new hardware store!

Best hardware shop around I been going here for years and plan to do many more shopping trips there in the future!

Bill, in U Haul rental department was excellent in his customer service. Even though he had no control over the rental that should have been returned, thus causing us to not have a rental, he was very professional. Thanks Bill.

Brought part of my leaky outdoor faucet in to replace some parts. The guy new exactly what washer size I needed and helped me out right away. He was super awesome and helpful.

I needed some help with paint and David in the paint department was great. He was very helpful and really helped me out.
I will do all my hardware business at the Puyallup McLendon's Hardware store.

If you need help, there are specialists who know their department and will help you unlike the big orange or blue box stores. Also, way faster to get propane tanks filled here than at the gas stations. Best experience ever getting my tanks filled! I called from the parking lot upon arrival and an employee met me at the big tank to refill mine.

We went in to get what we needed to replace the roof on our shed. The gentleman who helped us was amazing... we had a list and he helped us pick out the wood and shingles and made sure the plywood sheets weren't cracked or torn. He then stayed with us and helped lead our truck. Amazing customer service!

I love coming into this store. They have the selection and volume of a big box, but the variety and specialty items you usually can only find at little Mom & Pops. Every time I walk in here, I find the item I'm looking for (often a few to choose from) and some other thing that I didn't even know I needed.

I'm usually at Home Depot kind of guy. But the aura and the level of professionalism and knowledge has dwindled. McLendon's was always a little more pricey but went there today and enjoyed all of my visit good pricing good help nice people
