First time at this store, great customer service very helpful. Got my christmas tree loved the fact that I was able to bring in my dog

I had the most amazing experience there today! To say it was a positive experience would be the understatement of the year. Long story short, I bought a cabana there a few weeks ago and this morning we went to put it together but one of the boxes in the kit was wrong and we could go no further. I walked in and told ALEX what happened and he said "let me go in back and see if we have another box like that". We'll, he returned a few minutes later and said he had it and we could simply swap out the 2 boxes. I was expecting to be told, sorry you'll need to call the customer service number in the instructions, which we did with no luck, and you'll have to deal with them. Honestly, that would have been legitimate since the store doesn't package the cabanas, they just sell them. Let's be very clear, ALEX saved our Memorial Day weekend! His customer service is so rare nowadays. Thank you also to whoever trained him and to Big Lots for empowering their managers to make these decisions! I will now look for reasons to shop there! Thank you again ALEX!

Five stars! The customer service provided for me at the Big Lots in Middletown was fantastic! Everyone was very helpful especially Vanessa. At least three different employees offered to assist me. It was refreshing as customer service has really changed. Keep up the good work. The store was clean and organized.

Very pleased with the customer service we received last weekend while purchasing a sofa from the Bristol location. One of the associates, Terry, went out of his way to help my sister and I load furniture into our truck. He refused a tip and just wanted to be sure we made it to our destination OK. If you are reading this - it was a scary ride, but we made it! :-)Thank you Terry!

Nice big store. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good variety of merchandise including furniture. The prices seemed very reasonable, especially for the household organizing bins and trays I was looking for. Also, a good place for organic growing soil, in season. Lots of free parking. Easy to get to from the main road. Lots of other retail stores in the area, so you can do a lot is shopping without going very far. This saved me a huge amount of time.

The staff at Big Lots are very knowledgeable and friendly. There’s plenty of room to shop and most times shelves are well stocked. The products are very high quality. Definitely a better alternative to the big box store!

I have been going here for the past few months and I would like to say that this location has excellent staff and excellent customer service. Every time that I go to this location, they always greet you at the door, they always ask if you need help with something, and everything is very easy to find. I really believe that the store manager here, really cares about making sure that the customers are taken care of and the place is overall neat. Everyone that has helped me thank you very much, and its because of the staff I will continue to spend my money here. This store is a great example of what retail customer service should be like!!

Wonderful customer service. I was looking for a glass table for my patio, did not want a patio set. Went to several stores only to be told could not be just buy the table. Went into Big Lots and the store associate was very helpful found the table I wanted and even carried it to my truck and put it in the truck for me. Big Lots is the best store.Reasonably priced, helpful associates. Excellent

I went to Job lots looking for a mattress and box spring found the mattress and box spring unfortunately it was not in stock I asked him when it would be in they said not anytime soon so I asked if they would match a price if they could couldn't be done but I appreciate what they did thanks again guys I appreciate your time and your effort

Very great selection of beverages clothing toys for kids snacks for adults great selection of movies for sale and a lot of essentials at some stores don't have during these unprecedented times like hand sanitizer disinfecting wipes and toilet paper and paper towels and Lysol 99% disinfectant spray that you can buy to help you fight and get rid of coronavirus once and for all

Always find great bargains at Big Lots. Staff is always friendly.

They have good prices on their product. Good range of items. I like this store.

Enjoy shopping there and have good prices on name brands items. They also carry the flavor water ICE the cheapest around, just found that out July 2018.

I just love it they got stuff in there that is definitely reasonable and all the dollar stuff you could get in there the stuff you get in there then you go to a regular grocery store you get the same thing there's a huge difference in prices

From furniture to home decor to pet food, they have it all. Some of my biggest purchases from this store is the furniture. The quality is great!

This store has a lot of different items from gardening tools, different kinds of furniture reasonably priced, food, like milk, and cheese for sandwiche's and small appliances all at BIG LOTS where you can save some coin and be happy ....😊😊😊😊😊
