This is the hardware store from back in the day, when you can walk in and walk out with EVERYTHING you needed. The most important thing is the knowledge of their employees. Very helpful people.

Good local hardware store. Very close to my home. So, it's kind of a go to place for me, especially while I'm doing something at home and running out of supplies. Because if I want to go to Home Depot or Lowe's then I have to drive 15 minutes. So it saves a lot of my time.

I woke up to my heat not working on the first floor and initially thought it had something to do with my thermostat. I went in looking for one and was given advice about what to troubleshoot first and where to go if I was still having trouble. After running through the steps I was able to avoid what I imagine would have been a very expensive call.

I feel like it's hard to find that kind of guidance at the big box stores - and their selection is pretty expansive as well. Saved me a few grey hairs that morning!

Love this place...they actually have the stuff you need without a longer drive to the box store! Great supply of all the small nuts/bolts/nails etc that you can't find at the bigger stores. Much of the stuff you buy here is actually lower priced, too. Great service and friendly staff.

We made more than 15 trips to Star Hardware in Tolland, CT this weekend. I was impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the entire staff. Everyone was extremely l knowledgeable. If a staff member was unfamiliar with a section, they immediately call another staff member to help. There was always someone available to answer questions. Great store, great staff and great experiences.

Love Star Hardware, usually find what I need there. Actually went to Wildflowers florist which is next door. They are awesome and always take care of me. Plenty of room to park here.

This place is great. They seem to always have it. I'm here almost every other week. I'd rather shop and support the local stores than the home depot's or lowes'.
