Great place for daily needs love the flower section

The foral department went above and beyond during the holiday season. I ordered a plant for a gender reveal and sent someone else to pick it up. They do not normally box them up but when I told then what it was for they said they would figure it out. They definitely did :-) We received a beautifully wrapped large box complete with a Christmas bow. Their extra effort made our Christmas gender reveal extra special. Thanks HyVee Floral!

Not my normally used Hy-Vee, but, for all that, definitely a nicer one- their "deli" area was HUGE and had freshly made, hot Chinese food!!

Love this Hy-vee. Been coming to this location since I moved to Iowa and most of the employees there are really nice and friendly, they normally have everything we need and we love the gas rewards. Only cashier I would note to try to avoid is Sue, she seems agitated like she doesn’t want to be there, she also seems somewhat rude, especially to the people bagging groceries who she makes run to replace items that don’t even have anything wrong with them and most of the young men at the checkout area are very helpful and we always appreciate that.

I like the big gumball machine and the candy Ile has lots of options

Great customer service! Must name a couple specifically: Christian (maybe College - aged) who is nice, smart and professional. Always helpful.

The other is Max (maybe HS? - ginger) also nice and professional, with a ready smile.

I hope this HyVee can keep such great people!

My local hyvee got rid of the logic puzzles book even tho I bought them every month, this hyvee has them still, the people here can be kinda dumb, but that is an auto five stars

love the meat dept. everyone so helpful always a good selectuon still a good place to shop. They're remodeling so patience is needed. Everyone working hard but will take time to help you find what you need😁
So remodel is done😊 Took a few trips to learn where everything is.
So glad the Asian food is still up front. We love the sushi selections.

Saw the lady making Poke bowls and putting it out on shelf. Grabbed one and it was DELICIOUS. All the deli foods looked inviting.

The sushi selection looked better than Wasabi in Ames, avoid that place as nothing is authentic there.

Real nice Hyvee, we have one but this one beats it.

Oh man, they were Great and the check out cashier was sooo nice and helpful. I'm from out of town and I can see why the family always speaks so highly of Hy-Vee.

I shop HyVee every day and find the staff friendly and the food selection excellent.

Super helpful staff!! From out of town moving my daughter into ISU and had to stop to get a few things. I accidentally asked the Frito Lay rep where something was and she went out of her way to try to help me. We had no luck but upon finding a staff member we all went on a search. Little did I know there were 2 other staff members that were also on the hunt for my item. After a about a 5 minute scavenger hunt...SUCCESS!!! Thank you all so very much for all of your help today!! Excellent customer service!!
P.S. My item was LINT ROLLERS! If they helped me like that just looking for an item...

I really like this store. It's big but not so large you'll get lost. Their food court is clean and stocked well with all different kinds of choices. The bathrooms are normally clean and it has a Starbucks! Easily accessible and the employee's seem pretty happy to work there.

You will find a large variety and good quality food, though you will pay more than at other local stores for many things. Their restaurant, buffet, and other ready-to-go food is quite good in my limited experience, including the Asian food. The pharmacy has always been helpful and I use their post office services frequently since they are so much closer than the actual office. Very nice store is always clean. My one minor complaint is that I wish when they have limited checkouts open, that they would have one at each end of the store, as I am typically parked on the opposite side of the store from where the open checkouts are.

I don't shop here very often but when I do they always have what I need and the self check out makes it that much faster
