Best liquor store in Ames. Sonny and Laura are both very helpful with choosing vapes and recommending alcohol. They have a really good selection which is a huge plus, and the place is clean and the staff is helpful and cool. Sonny even helped me to replace a vape that wasn't working properly after I tested it, I'll be back because his customer service is on point. Would recommend!

I've had a wonderful experience every time I've visited. The staff is friendly and helpful. The variety of products was more than I was expecting. They didn't have something I was looking for, so they offered to order it for me! They have also partnered with local delivery services for ease of ordering. When I had covid, one of the employees offered to personally deliver my kratom order to my house once they could close the store. If all of that isn't dedication to customer satisfaction, I don't know what is. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Great customer service. They often know what I need before I do. Bri gives the best consults. I refuse to go anywhere else in Ames.

The people here are very friendly and helpful. They are truly like your friendly neighbour. I enjoy the small talk and the prices are great. They have a huge selection of beers, liquors, smokes and have food items and sodas/energy drinks. I would recommend this place to anyone. They are like a mom and pop shop!

I’m not from Iowa so when my vape went out I had no idea what to do or where to go to get one I liked. Luckily The employee there (Donald) went out of his way to not only find me one with the flavor I liked but even found me an affordable option so I could get more than one. If you have any questions- Donald’s the guy to ask!

I have never meet a more friendly welcoming staff then the Neighborhood Liquor Mart. The staff and owner listen to their customers and remember who you are and what you like so as to make recommendations. They actual want to hear back from their cliental and listen to what they want and like. The prices are fantastic especially for the quality that they offer. They definitely have a life long customer in me and I highly recommend them to everyone I know looking for alcohol and kratom needs.

Always love coming to the store.I would, and actually have, recommended this store to my to my family. Always a great selection of everything from liquor to glass. And don't even try to find a place with a better selection of vapes, cuz quite frankly they are second to none! Right now they even have several different limited edition Mr.fog max! It's always sonny at this store even when it's night time

Great store, would recommend for tobacco, pipes, kratom and more. All fairly priced and of good brands. Place is clean, staff and owner are nice. Been there well over 30 times without a problem.
