For the most part, the USPS at Myrtle Grove NC is excellent. Their experienced people have always been great over the 30 years my family has been here in Wilmington and one of them has just been " promoted" to the main PO downtown and she was GREAT!. The issues we have had were with NEW back room mail "sorters" and the PO's distribution center, wherever that is, also sorting mail so it arrives in a timely manner. Lastly, locally answering the phone to get a tracking number is next to impossible when we are out of state trying to track Express mail. THAT COULD VERY WELL BE A HIRING/ UNDERSTAFFED ISSUE. Just moved to the monkey junction area in February of 2023 and have been very pleased with my mail service. I especially love my mail carrier because he is very nice and doesn't walk across my lawn and through my garden like some of the other, uh hum, services do. We have a driveway and a front sidewalk and your mail carrier uses it and I appreciate that very much! Never a single issue with any of our mail! Thank you!😊

They were quick and extremely kind! The gentleman at the front was patient with us, while we dealt with some card issues. Thank you!

I had a package that did not arrive to its destination. Anna from the monkey junction post office reached out after ticket was made. Best experience she called me 4 times in one day until the problem was figure out. She was very curtious and professional and found the package at its virginia location and had it rerouted. Very pleasant experience. Problems arise its all about how they are handled. In this case A+ keep up the good work!

It looks like most people dealing with post offices leave reviews when something goes wrong and when things go right nobody bothers to write anything, so the reviews end up being skewed. I’ve had a good experience with this post office. I haven’t had any packages missing. The line in this post office fluctuates just like at any other location. Come at a random time (not during lunch or right before closing) and there won’t be many people. They won’t answer their phones, sure, but find me a Usps location that does, it doesn’t look like it’s part of their job description. But if you go in person people working at this location are super nice and helpful!

Tara from the Myrtle Grove post office has the best customer service I've ever seen! She is amazing!!!

I had called the office pretty upset because my package seemed to be missing for a week (after the tracking number said it was on the truck for delivery.)

I told Tara about it and she went out of her way to find the package for me. She called me back to let me know, and then made sure to get the package delivered in just a couple hours. She is so amazing. I can tell she cared about my concerns and acted with urgency. Myrtle Grove PO really came through for me.

After all the negatives I have read I felt compelled to give a different perspective on this Post Office. First the delivery is first rate, our main "Postman" goes out of her way to ensure that when we receive a parcel or mail that will not fit in the mailbox she takes the time to deliver to the front door and left secured and dry. She always has a smile and a wave when she delivers the mail. When I have contacted the Post Office I have rarely had to wait any time to get my call answered and when it was the agents were polite and efficient and seemed genuinely concerned about my problems

At my last visit to the post office, the clerk worked as quickly as possible, apologized to everyone who had to wait, and even took time to load heavy packages into one of the customer's cars. My mail carrier also took the time to introduce herself when I moved into my new home, and is always very friendly when we see her. My change of address went smoothly as well. Thank you for the great service!

I received Excellent Customer Service. I was called promptly to pick up my packages upon their arrival. Everyone was friendly and very helpful.

The line was not long the clerk was very helpful

Rashad found my missing package and proactively placed it in my mailbox. An important school project for my son. Made my sons day. Rashad’s helpful and thorough.
