Jonathan is such a good human. My husband and I both took our cars in today since our AC wasn’t blowing cold air. He was very helpful in the information we got and what it could be. It made me feel so much better since he got my AC to blow cold air again by adding freon. Very thankful for him. The employees here go above and beyond!!!

The staff here is personable, yet professional. I worked with a gentleman named Phillip, and he is very knowledgeable. He helped me by running a battery test, and then replacement of my battery. The price on the battery was good, the test and the installation were free. The service is excellent and priceless.

Went in today. To get my codes looked at. And Tyler helped me in every way he could to resolve the problem. If you need any work possible or information on your car be sure to see him. This guy knows everything there is to know about cars and customer service is on point. I highly recommend you coming in and seeing him today for all your car needs. Five stars.

Carter and Nick were awesome to help with a diagnostic test and getting spark plugs and wires and basically showing me how to change everything myself. This saved me over $300 that I would have spent going to an auto shop. Thanks guys! I'll be back!

So, I was sent today by my husband to this store with a long list of things to get, since he had gotten home to late the last few days to get there. I was very daunted by this task.

I walked in and Brad greeted me right away. I explained to him my predicament and he laughed (not condescendingly, but because I am funny as can be). I showed him my phone which had the text of things needed, and he happily got me everything I needed. There were many options and he didn't push for the most expensive. In fact he pointed out that they had a brand on sale buy one get one which saved me money. He gave me what I needed, kindly, without ripping me off.

My husband just commented on how impressed he is by the honesty of the sales man that he didn't sell me the most expensive of everything, only what he needed to get the job done.

Mike was super helpful and efficient when helping me get new windshield wipers today! I had my toddler with me who was full of wiggles and he made the transaction quick: under five minutes from walking in to checking out. He even installed them for me. Thank you so much!!

Carter and Steve went out of their way to help me resolve my problem. I always feel like family going into this store. Outstanding effort guys !

This store was amazing.. I first went to a different auto part store and they didn't know how to put a wiper on my Escalade and that's fine, but they had an attitude and completely blew me off and that wasn't ok.. so we came here and these guys were so helpful and went out of their way to learn how to install said wiper instead of just blowing me off! Very friendly and I totally recommend this store to anyone!!!

10 stars if I could! Crystal and Tyler went above and beyond to help us with our car trouble, and literally saved my family's vacation. The cooling fan relay blew causing the fan to stay on all night and kill my battery. After walking about 4 miles to the store, Tyler gave my husband a ride back to the house and helped him replace the battery and also diagnosed the cause. He told him to bring the car up to the store when he was ready, and he would help further. Him and Crystal did everything they could to get our car fixed, I honestly dont know what we would have done if not for them and their kindness. They had the part overnight delivered since they didn't have it in stock and Crystal replaced it right there in the parking lot! They most certainly didn't have to do anything other than sell the parts to us and wish us the best of luck , but they did so so much more, and saved our vacation. I am so grateful for them both!

Tyler is the best and needs to be promoted to the next level!!! I have been looking for answer to my car issues for months. Google, Napa, O'Reilly. And found no help or answers. Within minutes Tyler helped me solve them. He with a smile helped and was BEYOND professional!! This man needs a promotion hands down!!

I have used this Advance Auto location several times - as well as other locations around New Hanover, Pender and Brunswick Counties. I've always had good dealings with Advance myself. If they don't have it on a shelf, they can get it ordered for you. They also offer some testing services for free - like battery, alternator, etc... and they've always had a tool loan program and core-return deal on parts. This one is located on Carolina Beach Road, right next to the building where Mad Katz is located.

I Ordered online and did pick up. The service was fast, friendly with excellent customer service 👍

Twi young ladies there today (Katie and another woman whose name I didn't get) were very professional and polite. This particular store is the only auto parts store I will EVER shop at!

On a different note, why does Advance Auto have to have on their website "LGBT friendly"? All this virtue signaling is getting real old, really fast.

Why would AA make something so private so public? What's next, PWWWTLH-friendly (People Who Wipe With Their Left-Hand)?

Unbelievably helpful staff. Needed a new car battery and they installed it for free with no wait. Better prices than competitors. No pressure or upselling either which is always appreciated.

Stopped in to see about fuel treatments for my Ram 1500 that was partially flooded during Hurricane Florence. Shawn in the store was extremely helpful recommending HEET followed by Seafoam fuel additives. My engine would turnover but would not start. I purchased both and went home and followed his instructions. Needless to say, I was able to drive my vehicle back to the store to thank Shawn. He probably saved my some very large expenses at the dealership. I hope someone at Advance will recognize Shawn for his knowledge and experience. I am thankful and personally thanked him myself.

Had an awesome experience there today with Tyler - hands above competitors. He went above and beyond.will definately be my go to for sure
