Melania's Gourmet

Went for brunch on a Saturday. The atmosphere was very cozy and the staff super friendly. We tried the ham and cheese & the fig and brie croissants. We also had the cheesecake and the hazelnut chocolate crunch bar for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious!

Absolutely outstanding! Melania's hosted a surprise birthday party for my Mom. The planning process was simple and convenient. Working with Ryland from the menu, adding additional requests, to the day of our party was simple. The food, service and atmosphere was everything I had hoped for. Thank you Melania's Gourmet! What a gem. This is now my destination of choice when I'm feeling a little splurge-y for something delicious. Tried the tiramisu and maple ginger spice cheesecake. Both were not too sweet, just perfect. And their interior decor! So gorgeous. Just wish they were open more days! :)

Outstanding everything. After reading an article a few weeks ago about this new bakery in Front Royal, I knew I would have to check it out on my visit to town. I parked in the downtown and ventured over with my dog. My first observation of this beautiful pastry shop was the wrap-around porch with tables and chairs so Bonnie and I could both enjoy the morning. After hooking my pup up on the porch, I stepped inside to meet the incredible aromas you might expect in a top-notch cafe: butter, flour, coffee. The indoor decor was hip and warm, with no detail overlooked in creating a welcoming vibe. The staff greeted me warmly, patiently explained the gorgeous delicacies, and helped me choose ones that would best hold for my hike. They also offered up some pro recs for local exploration. I selected the Ham and Cheese Croissant and the Chocolate Cyclone Cookie, as Ryland explained they'd likely travel well. Despite my goal to get my treats to-go, I could not resist the urge to sample my selections with my coffee. In concert with my first impression of Melania's, the ham and havarti croissant was perfection, buttery and flakey, complete with just the right amount of mustard. I expect the cookie will equally exceed my expectations, but saving that! Melania's Gourmet: a gem in Front Royal!

Elegant jewel! If you live near or in Front Royal, Va this is a must stop. Sophisticated offerings that are as beautiful as they are delicious! Situated near downtown, it’s easy to find and so worth the drive.

An absolute delight in all ways! Can't not stop in at Melania's anytime we're in town. My boyfriend and I just savored every single morsel of a ham and cheese croissant..."Good God!" he exclaims as he bites into an almond croissant next. "This is 100% as good as anything you can get in Paris, I can't remember eating one that was better than this." (Sidenote: the man is a chef and does not say such things lightly)

These folks know how to serve up a wide variety of treats, both sweet and savory, and they have a lovely, warm energy about them as well. 10/10 would recommend! Thank you and wishing you and your lucky customers epic success and satisfaction ♥

Ordered dairy-free cupcakes for my daughter’s birthday. They were super beautiful and delicious. Everyone was amazed that they were dairy-free. Can’t wait to visit again!

I'm from Europe...(grandmother was trained by a French pastry cheff - I know what good dessert suppouse to taste like)...Melania's definitely took me back to those sweet, precious memories!!!

I will definitely come back to this place. I love the atmosphere and I love service these two are the most important things in a coffee shop for me. Food looks good. The only thing that we tried was baklava but it didn’t taste like an original baklava that is why I did only 4 stars. I have to try more food options. I also wish this place would be open more days a week. Hopefully it will change in the future.

Lovely experience! Beautiful place, managers were lovely. So very rare to find a bakery with vegan options but vegans love pastry too!! They had at least one option and it was absolutely delicious! (Call ahead or don't be in a rush, as it is made fresh to order) Muchas muchas gracias a Melania y compania!

Melania’s gourmet is even better than what is depicted on the website and Facebook. The selections are beautifully displayed . Everything looks delicious. The detail on the pastries show the love and care taken into making everything. This is worth every penny spent.

The food, atmosphere and experience are all excellent!

My adults kids are visiting from Spain and California, and they loved this place. The whole family went. We got pastries, chocolate bon bons, cookies, bread, and a pie. Everything was delicious. The decor and art inside are beautiful. The service was great. And we loved sipping their smooth, delicious coffee on their cute covered front porch. We ate there and also brought home wonderful treats for later. We will be back! Super glad to have a place like this in town.

I was able to sample several desserts at a bridal shower I attended. Everything was made so well and the attention to detail was astounding!

This is the cutest place! As a person who has a wheat allergy we went just for the coffee and atmosphere. I knew they had a few gluten free options so I figured I could get my token GF cookie and my husband could enjoy his full breakfast. To my shock and continued skepticism they had a gluten free scone and let me tell you.... I say skepticism because THAT SCONE WAS SO FLUFFY AND LIGHT AND CRUMBLY. Definitely one of the best gluten free offerings I have had in a LONG TIME!

I SO THANKFUL for the options you do have but having tasted your skills... I want more! Please please expand you GF offerings. If you put one of the breakfast sandwich eggs/meat on one of those scones I would die happy!
