Had a very good cavern tour here with a knowledgeable and humorous tour guide. I also liked that we had periodic tour pauses to allow for taking photos. The cavern itself is pretty interesting, as it houses unique crystals and formations.

I visited the Skyline Caverns at the end of October with two friends of mine and we all absolutely loved it! The cavern felt natural and untouched, as they’ve preserved it well. There are also LED lights throughout the cave which made it look otherworldly. We had Andrew as our tour guide and he made the experience great while also being very informative. I’ve been to the Luray Cavern two times and although it is very pretty to look at and more convenient that it is not guided, it was not very informative and felt too commercialized. The tour took approx an hour, would definitely recommend a visit here!

Felt a bit pricy but had a great time visiting the Skyline Caverns. Tour guide was very funny and informative about the caverns. They did a great job with lights. If you are in the area, you should make a stop, it was worth visiting. Heard that Luray Caverns is larger than this.

Our tour guide was funny, well informed, and patient. We had plenty of time to explore the caverns and never felt rushed. We were worried that it was going to be too kitschy, but instead were impressed with how little the modern improvements were visible in the caverns. Definitely worth the trip.

This is a nice cavern that is a smaller operation than some of the others in the area. The tour guides are knowledgeable and conduct a great tour. The tour lasts about an hour and the cave is cool but not too cold; most will do fine with no jacket or a light jacket. I was worried that my 5 year old son would be bored, but he enjoyed the entire tour. If you are in the area, this is a nice way to spend a portion of your afternoon.

Amazing cavern. Not as big as Luray but also less over-crowded. This cave also has one of the largest vacuum-formed crystal structures in the world.

The tour is guided and takes about 1 hour.
We learn a lot with all information from the guide.
Not sure about our guide guy name, but I believe that his name was Tristan (sorry if I spelled his name wrong, my English is not good), but our guide was excellent.
It is a beautiful cavern.

Wonderful tour. Way better than I was expecting. Wasn't sure what to expect from a cavern tour, but they did an excellent job with the lighting. Strongly recommend. Just know that it's a lot of up and down walking on uneven surfaces.

Took the kids for a field trip today and loved it. Our group was small during the tour and our guide Andrew did an excellent job. He made it interesting and punny at the same time!

So incredibly amazing! Guided tour. Our guide was wonderful. Open 7 days a week 930-4(?). We got there at 1030 on a Sunday and it was not crowded at all. Our group was maybe 16 people. It's a walking tour and about 1 and 1/8th mile long, 200 ft underground. WEAR A LIGHT JACKET. 54°F. There are 61 stairs to come back aboveground. Not stroller friendly. It was about an hour start to finish but it didn't seem that long. We learned so much. It was perfect for my 7 year old, but maybe a little too much for my 4yo. Wear shoes with good traction. The mirror maze is a MUST! And the train ride was cute. Do them all, you won't regret it. Massive gift shop. I can't believe I've only ever been to the other caverns before - this was super impressive and my favorite !

It was wonderful. Maybe some a long the ground lights where bad spots are. Very beautiful, gift shop has all kinds of things pertaining to the caverns. I got a sticker to put on the tailgate of my truck. Finished our bucket list with these caverns.

What a beautiful cavern! Reasonably priced for a one hour tour. There are stairs at the end so it's good to be aware of that. They have a nice gift shop and a small place to eat

Fun place to see, especially to take the kids there. It is not that big but it definitely could take 30 to 40 minutes to go through the whole thing. They have designed it well and the tour guide is very knowledgeable as well. At times the guide goes very slow but you can ask them to speed it up. They also have military discounts. Enjoy.

I loved visiting this location on the rainy day that I was in Front Royal. It was about an hour tour but the group can linger if you need more time. A great summer activity as it is much colder underground. Home to some incredibly rare sea urchin-like formations only going found in a few locations in the world. The tour guide was funny, informative, helpful, and kind. The gift shop has really cute dishes and rocks and really nice items that were reasonably priced. I’d come again just to see the colored lights in the caves again.

Nice caves and guide was fantastic. This is right near entrance of skyline drive. Definitely should hit this if heading to Shenandoah.

A fantastic spot to stop and learn a bit about our nation's geologic past! I visited with my wife, 5yo, 3yo, and 6mo - everybody had a blast. I highly recommend adding this detour to any road trip.

Absolutely loved it. My girlfriend surprised me by taking us here on the way to our vacation spot - incredibly fun and absolutely beautiful caverns. Aiden was an awesome tour guide, informative and fun - would love to see this place get more attention. Puppy friendly (must be carried, I believe) and they have even held weddings in the "chapel" chamber. Definitely give this place a look.

Absolutely beautiful. The tour was about 1hr and we had a fairly small group, which made it less crowded in the cavern. I would definitely recommend going earlier!
