This store was so cute and unexpectedly full of military-themed apparel. They also had some of the cutest sweatshirts and tshirts that we saw from the whole main street! I got the cutest Maine magnet from here to commemorate the trip and my wife got a “bottoms up” shot glass with a moose on it. The lady working that day (possible co-owner) Jessica, was really sweet and gave us the back story on Bar Harbor and the 1947 fire. She told us a lot about the prohibition era and the reading room. We had no idea there were so many interetsing details in Bar Harbor’s history! Thanks for sharing with us!

🦞We had briefly walked into this store one afternoon and I saw the used lobster buoys for sale.. I could not get them out of my head, so we went back today! I’m so glad we did!
👕They had items that the other stores did not have. We ended-up not only with a cool black/white stripped buoy for our back deck, but also gifts for our kids.

One of my favorite shops. They have a little bit of everything. If you are looking to bring a piece of Maine back home with you, this is the spot. They had so many unique items that would certainly compliment home decorating! It’s not just a tee shirt shop, they have bowies, magnets, compasses, a lot of cool souvenirs. The price’s were fair and the employee working was super friendly as well. If you are visiting Bar Harbor, I’d recommend stopping in and looking around!

This is a very cool knickknack type store. There are all sorts of things here and they are relatively inexpensive. Great for gifts for all your friends back home! Check it out!

Nice gift shop! They have a little bit of everything! They have some nice t shirts as well as many souvenirs. The lapel pins were also cool and different from others that I had seen in town.

Don’t be fooled by the generic Maine souvenirs and novelty T-shirts in the main window display, this shop has a lot more hiding inside. The store itself has been kept mostly in its original form as an old butcher shop and even has an old refrigerated display as a front counter and tracks on the ceiling in the back that was used to transport meat. Also in the rear of the store is a treasure trove of interesting items including recreation (and some genuine) military clothes and satchels, compressed hand towels in their original packaging from a Swiss airline, an assortment of old postcards that date back to the early 1900’s, a bin full of various patches ranging from soviet military insignias, local soccer and football clubs, and defunct pharmaceutical company logos, and a bunch of other interesting items. There is even an authentic 1900’s safe in the back that you can take a crack at opening for a prize. A rare hidden gem of Bar Harbor that is well worth a visit.

Nice shop located near our hotel. My husband bought a sweatshirt. The lady at checkout was friendly & welcoming to us & our dog.

Cute items but more importantly super friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Wir waren im September 2023 in Bar Harbor und waren sofort gefangen von der tollen Dekoration im Schaufenster, dass wir einfach hingehen mussten. Der Laden hat alles, was einen Bootsfan und Hafenliebhaber begeistert. Nicht nur die Sachen und Artikel, die man kaufen kann sind klasse, sondern die ganze Ausstattung ist wie ein Museum mit tollen Antiquitäten und Details zur Geschichte. Wir haben uns für die Balkon-Dekoration unseres Fischernetzes alte originale Schwimmer gekauft.

I enjoyed looking at all of the items in the store. The clerk was indifferent & seemed irritated when pulled away from her video to ring up my purchase. She did not bother saying thank you. This has been my first encounter with a rude person since arriving in Maine 5 days ago.

My husband (a veteran) took my son in here for a souvenir knowing they have some military surplus items; my son admires our military & his daddy. Today is the day the CDC ruled if we were vaccinated we didn't have to wear masks, which is also what their sign read. The elderly grey haired woman was a horrid person and attempted to yell at us, even though we had our vaccination cards on us. After realizing she was wrong, she started to make a scene and yell at our 4 year old for not wearing a mask properly. DO NOT SHOP HERE! Talk about anti-American in every way.
