Miruku is AMAZING! The ice cream is soft and delicious, and the seasonal flavors are always fun and tasty. The toppings are awesome too, and I also really like the matcha, and the fresh waffle cones. There is so much to say about this place, it’s wonderful! Everyone that works there is so kind, and it always brightens my mood. It’s a struggle to not go every day! Truly a gem of a business. Thank you Miruku! Pictured here is their Miruku milk ice cream, with crunchy chocolate cookie crumble, and corn flake crunch (HIGHLY recommend the corn flake crunch - it’s sweet, salty, and buttery)!

Delicious soft serve ice cream in downtown McKinney! The service was great and they even hand bring you your order, so sweet!
I got the chocolate sundae and the berry berry sundae, both were delicious but I slightly like the berry berry sundae a little more. Both were $7.25 and I love that it comes with so many toppings which gives it a bunch of textures.
The berry berry one, I got too excited and started eating it before I remembered to take a picture 😂
Worth coming to try at least once!

Visited here on my way home to Chicago, via Austin. Amazing ice cream shop with an unique variety of treats! Cute and well designed ambiance that gives off a fun vibe. We tried their special coco mango, berry berry sundae, and strawberry matcha latte. All were excellent! I want to eat and drink everything here!

I love that this is a small, independently owned family business. Great service and in a charming location. Go Miruku!

We got the Miruku ice cream and a matcha affogato. We enjoyed our dessert. This place was pretty busy when we came. Can't wait to be back to try their other desserts!

Love this local family-owned ice cream shop! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a lovely smile and warm hello. It was our first time here, and the owner gave lots of great recommendations. I had the matcha affogato, and my friends had the berry berry, chocolate madness, and seasonal minty grinch - all 4 are delicious and they hand-delivered to our table too. There is a couple of small tables and benches for indoor seating, and the atmosphere and decoration is very cute too. Definitely will come back when I’m in the area!

Miruku is AMAZING!! The soft serve is so delicious and all the seasonal offerings are so yummy. My husband and I go here almost every week it's that good. This is a family owned cafe by husband and wife duo who curate everything on the menu. The matcha is one of my favorites and the menu has something for everyone without it being overwhelming. I Definitely recommend miruku to all!

My husband & I luckily saw this place on Google maps near where we had dinner last night & I'm so glad we did. I got the cheesecake soft serve ice cream & he got a chocolate sundae. We also got a lavender limeade soda to share. Everything was incredible & the owner was so nice. We will definitely be back soon!

This is such a cute place. The people are super friendly and the yogurt is very good. It’s definitely worth the time to stop by and check it out. You won’t be disappointed!! They also have a dairy free option for those that are lactose intolerant!

I tried the Capri Sandwich today and it was (as my kids say) FIRE! It was so delicious. The sun-dried tomatoes with the balsamic sauce are the standouts. LOVE this sandwich and the owners are amazing. Can't recommend the quality and tastiness of everything they do!

10/10, family-owned and operated! The ice cream was fresh and fun. My son got the milk ice cream and cream with cotton candy wrapped, they have a cotton candy machine which made it a fun experience! The coffee or also available, matcha, affogato is a must! Don't miss this treasure in downtown McKinney!

My family loves going here whenever we're in downtown McKinney. The desserts and drinks are always perfect. My fave is the berry berry sundae. My husband likes their matcha latte

We have been here twice now and are huge fans! The owner was super talkative and knowledgeable. From our conversation, he brings lots of culinary experience and is super nice. We hope for the best to him as we love these types of flavors and are glad his his stuff made it up this north!

The flavors rotate but not on a scheduled basis, keep an eye on their website/Instagram. We loved the Matcha Affogato, Milk, Chocolate, and Thai soft serve! I had the Thai Grr Boba and loved that too.

Chocolate ice cream was good. The Vietnamese coffee was great. The Berry Berry was amazing. The cotton candy portion was very generous. It turned alot of heads while we were walking around the square. Definitely will be coming back and will be recommending to everyone.

Tried the hot dalgona latte and their hot chocolate fluff - both were great! The owner was very kind and clearly enjoys making you a special drink :)

Delicious unique ice cream sundae specials! We tried the Berry Berry, and it was awesome! My favorite part was the cornflake crunchies. The combo of smooth ice cream with textured crunch is phenomenal. We also asked for a small cup of ice cream for our pups which they graciously offered to split into two cups for them. Love the place & bright happy colors! We welcome this shop to McKinney and look forward to regular visits. 😊

P.S. a small dog-sized cup or cone option on the menu would be pretty cool 🐾💕

My family of four loved this creative ice cream so much! We had all the flavors between us. My favorite was the milk ice cream with a waffle and the homemade crunchy sugar topping. The welcoming family who runs this adorable shop are so passionate about their products, brilliant marketing, and their customers. Once inside, you feel transported to a different place (Oahu comes to mind) while it still being the perfect addition woven into downtown McKinney’s charm and most importantly the family experience on the square. Wander on in with your family or friends and I promise you won’t be disappointed in what you find!! We love to support local businesses especially that are unique to McKinney and one of a kind!

MIRUKU is an absolute delight! The variety of flavors is mind-boggling. I tried their summer seasonal "taro mochi blissue" and it was incredibly tasty and the amount of sweetness is just prefect. They use high-quality ingredients, and very friendly staff. The cozy ambiance and top-notch service make it a must-visit for all ice cream lovers. I also love the color changing spoons! It brought me happiness for sure!

This place is the perfect place to take the family to get ice cream on a nice sunny day. If the cheerful canary yellow doesn't brighten your day their tasty offerings will. We stopped by this ice cream parlor on our way home from the library. Upon entering we were greeted by the owners.
They were very friendly and were very kind to my boys. I love supporting local, family owned businesses and this place makes it easy to support them with the creative, fresh and delicious options they offer. The interior was bright and clean and had a few tables along the wall to enjoy sweet treats.

My sons both love cotton candy so they opted for the Day Dream which consist of soft ice cream, rainbow crunch, a chocolate wafer stick and is wrapped with a swirl of freshly made cotton candy! They were blown away, two of their favorite things in one package! As I was speaking with one of the owners about the menu items I noticed there was a dairy free option as I no longer consume dairy and was delighted to find out that it is made with oat milk! Most places I have visited use coconut milk which can have an aftertaste that spoils any other flavor other than coconut or the ice cream is hard as a rock. This ice cream was very soft and creamy due to the oat milk and the flavor was good, not super sweet due to it being made from mango purée and not sugar syrups and artificial flavorings. I was extremely delighted to find a place that makes a good dairy free ice cream as I normally have to make my own!

To keep things interesting they change flavors every month. I will definitely return next month to check them out; I cannot wait to see what the flavor will be. We might be returning sooner than later since my boys cannot stop talking about the Day Dream!
