This place is never full, and I’m thankful for that, but it should be because they serve such AMAZING food and the service is so kind. I love the chicken and pork pad Thai, which cost $16. It was spectacular. And the curry meals are as well. I recommend a spice level of 4, but if you get a lower level, they give you chili on the table to add more if needed!

From the moment we entered Thai Smile, despite arriving only a half hour before their closing time, our experience was nothing short of excellent. Our server, Amy, graciously welcomed us with a warm smile and professionalism that punctuated the superior service we received during our stay.

The star of the evening, without a doubt, was the deeply satisfying Thai soup. I had duck and my husband had beef. This culinary delight, a rich blend of boldly aromatic Thai flavors and succulent duck meat, was impressively delicious. Each spoonful was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to presenting authentic Thai cuisine. It filled the mouth with a symphony of sweet, sour, and spicy notes, all echoing the undeniable essence of traditional Thai food.

Amy's service was prompt and courteous, always attentive despite the impending closing time. She made us feel comfortable, treating us not like mere customers, but guests in her own home.

Came here 12 years ago and had the best Thai in the south, which was a surprise coming from the west and having been to Thailand. It's just as good 12 years later, would highly recommend, just be extremely careful with the spice level you choose.

We really enjoyed the food. Everything came out very quickly. The fried calamari was some of the best I’ve had! The Thai Tea is great.

As with most restaurants they seem to be having an issue with staffing it took quite a while to get our food. We weren't bothered overall just hungry. The food was pretty delicious to be honest which has been my experience in the past with this place. The service was solid and good they just didn't have enough help. I would highly recommend you give this place a try again if you haven't recently or you've never been put it on your list.

I honestly am posting this review cause I have seriously been craving to come back to this place since we visited earlier in the year. The food was great, the service was great, and overall it is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Chattanooga. And it was a random find too. Not too far from the aquarium and all the fun activity, this place was like a hidden treasure. And the pricing was not bad at all for the amount of food we got.

My girlfriends were in town and craving Thai, so I suggested this place because it was close to my home even though I had never been to it. It was very disappointing... that I had never tried this place before. Because everything was fantastic. The waitress was friendly and attentive to our needs and helpful in recommending dishes even though she was new to the Thai game. We all got something different and were all very satisfied with our dishes. The portions were big so we all took home some delicious leftovers. This place definitely deserves more attention and I plan on returning soon.

Thai Smile is my favorite Thai food in Chattanooga. I recommend the Bangkok Spicy plate. You can pick your spice level for any of their dishes to match your preference. I like that this place is vegetarian friendly as well.

I have always eaten here when in Chattanooga going back 20 years because the owner was influenced by his uncle's restaurant in Hollywood, CA. I haven't been in a few years, but in the past the food was far superior to most of the Thai restaurants outside of Los Angeles. Sure hope nothing has changed.

Good food! Small place, nothing fancy and friendly staff.
We had chicken satay, veg fried rice and chicken fried rice. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They are open for all kinds of Customisations.
Will definitely go back!

This is a very nice, clean, restaurant in the 💜 of tourism. It's not extra large, but big enough to accommodate you guys. It's location puts you as close as any facility to our Worlds Famous Aquarium Activities. Guess what ? It's just across the street. You can be there in five minutes. It's a lot to do , and see in this area. Like Movies 🎥 🍿 ? Cool Museums ? Like Music 🎶 ? Like fitness centers 💪? Okay y'all got this. These are all within walking distance, or you can take the shuttle 🚌. Let's order some delicious 😋 food. You guys got to have the Hawaiian Fried Rice , everything else goes on top delicious 😋. I like the Tangerine Chicken, and Pineapple Curry with Pork delicious 😋. Please don't forget The Thai Noodle Soup 🍲. If you are Vegan welcome ! There are many other , delicious 😋 choices as well. I am a big fan of Thai Smiles and it is our favorite quick lunch and dinner place when we are downtown! I will be the first to admit that the service and vibes can vary from from day to day depending on who's there that day. But the food is always great. They have a great chili oil sauce. I usually get a four out of seven spice hits the spot every time. They have great curries and noodle dishes, but my go to is the Hawaiian fried rice with tofu.

Give it a try, be patient sometimes because the food is totally worth it.

I simply cannot rave enough about this restaurant. I travel full time and take every opportunity to eat Thai cuisine. The food at Thai Smile is as good as any I've ever had. Truly authentic, exceptionally fresh ingredients, ample portions and exactly the heat you request. Ayman was our server and he was working on his own during a very busy lunch rush. He was professional, courteous, and made great suggestions when we asked about various dishes. He never became flustered when food was a bit late coming out. This experience was so worth the slight wait due to their being so many people in the restaurant. The price is very reasonable. I highly recommend you give this Chattanooga gem a try.

We wanted to eat Indian food at sitar but they stopped serving at 915. So we went to the thai restaurant across the road.
We were so glad they did otherwise we wouldn't have had a great meal.
Loved the food and the 2 ladies working there were great.

Our food was great. The service was on point. Absolutely friendly staff. Even our toddler chowed down and gave them a million points review.

Enjoyed a delicious dinner with incredibly kind service tonight!!! The Bangkok spicy was absolutely to die for. Their chef knows flavor, it's the best Thai we've had in ages. I have a coconut allergy which was taken seriously and my meal was delicious and allergy safe.

Additionally, our servers were so kind and went out of their way for us helping us out as we were passing through town- we are so grateful! We will be back ❤❤❤

Great little place. We love Asian food and this was fantastic. Our favorites were the Panang Curry, Pad Thai, Wonton Soup, and Fresh Rolls.
