Kai Bistro

I stopped in on Saturday with my family while I was in town visiting. We came in on the end of lunch rush, so it wasn't too busy.

The atmosphere was very trendy and fun, the staff were all super friendly, and the cost was really reasonable with generous portions. I ordered the Korean Street Ramen which was SO incredibly good. We're talking, if it were socially acceptable, I would have been licking that bowl clean it was that good! My sister-in-law had the lettuce wraps which were delicious and my brother had the Bulgogi Philly steak sandwich. That sandwich was amazing. I can't wait to go back and try other items on the menu because honestly it was so hard to pick one thing.

Seriously amazing food! I got the kimchi fried rice and my friend had the ramen. Both were fantastic! We also had the fried chicken and dumpling appetizers, which were incredible. Highly recommend! So much more food than I expected too. Really great cocktails as well!

Update: Please be aware the price of the food has increased significantly since this original review. The ramen is now $15.

Excellent food!! I had the Ramen Bowl for $10 and it was amazing, my favorite ramen in town by far. The pork was delicious and I love being able to select different ingredients for my ramen! Also shared the Sake which is a very good deal and delicious. Friendly staff and a brand new building with a large front porch area.

This place is such a vibe! Staff was friendly and service was prompt. Food is delicious, the galbi is perfection. The special was a truffle Mac and cheese, and it was SO yummy, especially with the beef that came with it! Love the black fortune cookies. I cannot wait to try the rest of the menu!

My friend and I wanted to celebrate her passing a huge test, and this place was recommended. It did not disappoint. Our server was very kind and patient with us. She took the time to explain the dishes and even what some items were that we did not recognize. We both enjoyed this place and plan to go back many more times.

Sunshine was our waitress and she was so kind and helpful! One of our new favorite restaurants in Chattanooga hands down. Great prices, great food and great atmosphere! The Asian pot roast is my favorite! My husband got tacos which were also very good. We will be back!

First time in... very impressed.... We sat outside. It was virtually perfect in every way. I would highly recommend!!!

This place was awesome. The food was super unique and tasty. I got the hibachi burrito with some Sriracha Mayo and my mind was blown. Cool patio too!

Must try: KBBQ short ribs, Braised Short Rib Noodle Soup (PHOzilla) and KBBQ Sliced Ribeye Steak (Bulgogi) over the blooming onion with tapas and DIY lettuce wraps - ALL 5 star dishes ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

- LAVA BOWL: rice cakes, smoked sausage, fish cakes, house made sweet/spicy sauce & topped with Gouda/ mozzarella cheeses, chives and boiled egg 🔥

LOTUS CRAB CAKE: be prepared for a 1/2 lb crab cake 😋 Panko crusted, fried perfectly top and bottom, topped with Asian slaw and a beautifully decorated gochujang aioli plate.

BULGOGI PHILLY: French bread sand with thinly sliced ribeye, Gouda and mozzarella cheeses, sautéed onions and Shiitake mushrooms. Topped with caramelized Kimchi, chives and sriracha Mayo, served with sweet chili sour cream chips 🤤

Again, all 5 star dishes ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Absolutely delicious. Came here on a whim because we didn’t know what to eat and so glad we did. The service was amazing, the guy who was training said we were his 2nd table and he did so good! He also took this picture of me and my boyfriend lol. The girl who was training him was super kind and helpful too, everyone had a great attitude. 10/10 very yummy

Cocktails were tasty and original. Fun atmosphere. Service was great. Food was fresh and hot. Our entire party was raving about the food. I got the burrito special. Everything had awesome flavor. We had the pork bao buns and the lettuce wraps as appetizers, so yummy! Will be back, I want to try everything on the menu!

Run, don't walk to Chattanooga's newest Asian fusion restaurant! Dear Lord, everything we had was off the chain! Started off with the pork belly bao buns and then followed up with the brisket fried rice and the sliced ribeye on top of a blooming onion. Holy moly, it was all nothing short of fantastic. Seriously, some of the most tender brisket I have had outside of a BBQ joint and everything else's flavor profile was ridiculous. Absolutely can't wait to return to what will quickly become Chattanooga'hottest new restaurant.

The food was incredible!! The musubi was perfection. Everyone in our party ordered something different and we couldn’t stop saying how delicious it all was. Cameron was so personable and attentive! The atmosphere was really cool, and I could see this being an awesome place at night. Next time we’re in Chattanooga we will 100% be coming back here. Highly recommend.

This was my first time here since they recently opened. I will be back. I got the Phozilla and my husband got the Asian pot roast. Delicious! Warning though. The pho is huge! Like could feed a family but it was so good. The broth was fantastic and the beef so tender. Husband enjoyed his too. I took enough of my pho home to eat off several more times. Can't wait to come back and try more stuff. This was my first time eating Korean food and am now a fan.

Absolutely 5 stars all the way!! A group of 6 of us came to celebrate a birthday and it was even better than we expected! Everything we ordered was beyond delicious, including the drinks! For sure about to be a prime spot in Chattanooga. Can’t wait for many more meals here!

Cameron and team took great care of us! The food was delicious! Truly enjoyed the soup dumplings, Korean fried chicken, Japanese meatballs and the Hawaiian Bowl.

Fantastic food at reasonable prices, which was a nice surprise! We had the soup dumplings, Korean street ramen, and Bibimbap- all were great. Cocktails were good as well.

Went to Sunday brunch hours for their dim sum. Such a fun experience. Enjoyed everything. The beef dumplings and musubi were our favorites. The staff were so great and helpful and well informed on the options.

Can not wait to go back during the week for their regular menu.

Food and service (Cameron) were absolutely amazing. We got there incredibly close to their kitchen cut off for lunch service and they took us in with no problem, served amazing food and drinks with a smile and everyone was incredibly friendly and personable. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting or living in Chattanooga!

Just stopped in to try their burger week offering. It was a bhan Mi style burger and was delicious. Sriracha fried were killer as well. Highly recommend for both their menu and the burger week special.
