Our server-Savanah?- had that casual heart stopping beauty you'll see in American Spanish speaking women in California these days. Her gentle radiant presence seemed to quiet the room. It's as though she should be sipping ambrosia atop a gold pyramid somewhere while competing armies cease hostilities under her peaceful gaze. All I could do was glance up at her meekly and ask for more napkins. Anyway, the French fries were quite good but I would say the salad needed more dressing.

They specialized in Danish, Scandinavian, and American cuisine, a little bit pricey but food is fine. Located in the heart of Solvang in Copenhagen Drive.

Tried the combination plate to taste a bit of meatball and sausage and omg so glad I did. Everything had pickled cabbage and mash potatoes and they were amazing. Serving size is appropriate, not to much food and must have the dessert at the end. Don't miss it! No wait when we came which was Sunday lunch. Sweet staff and a few locals to chat with.

Rullepølse open face sandwich was delicious, as well as the side of potato and pickled beets.

Stopped here for dinner before leaving the village. The name itself grabbed attention. When going in the dining experience was traditional and unique with enjoyable miniature read on their dining paper that is presented on the table. The food was really good and stuck to the traditional and authentic culture tastes, and preparations on the main dishes. I ordered the Combination main dish which was good and very filling if you eat the fresh breads that they serve you with the entree. Those breads were actually fresh and complimented the tomato soup. The soup was the best tomato soup I have ever had compared to others. I highly recommend this place.

Great place for authentic Danish food. The buffet has lots to offer from pickled herring to pastries and LOTS more. Got crowded fast so you know it's good. Service was fast and friendly, too

We ordered California omlate and veggies omlate both were good in taste and they also give bread toast with butter and jam.fried potatoes come with omlate. So we liked breakfast here. I highly recommend this restaurant

Nice little restaurant to start our trip. Has the traditional meatball and sausage. I don’t think I’ve had Danish food before and was pleasantly surprised.

Very friendly staff. Menu offered great selection to try different authentic Danish foods. I recommend the combination Danish sausage and Danish meatball meal if you want to try a bit of everything. Then top it all off with a traditional Æbleskiver :)

I was there 3 days in a roll while in Solvang. Breakfast was delicious, they have the best bacon ever! Of course I had to share with my King! Also had a patty melt one day and it was also delicious. Everyone there is so accommodating and friendly. I will definitely be back!!

Very authentic Meals! I had the combo plate of medisterpølse (Danish sausage) and frikadeller (Danish meatballs) potatoes, gravy, red cabbage, and cucumber salad! Chefs did a great job! Waitress was very good, polite and knowledgeable!

We were sat quickly. Food was definitely good. Went with my fiance for my 30th birthday. We had the combination plate and everything was delicious. Cucumber salad was interesting but delicious as well. Checked on us about 4 or 5 times, waiting on us hand and foot. Food came out quick. When our hostess wasn't knowledgeable about types of wine tasting, she went and got someone else to suggest something for us immediately and he was also pleasant. It was nice and quiet in there. You could hold a conversation without raising your voice. Would definitely come back.

Good traditional Scandinavian food. Very inexpensive and authentic.

Come here for a Danish experience in America. Definitely try the frikadeller which are Danish meatballs. They taste similar to those I've eaten made by people living in Denmark. Of course the pickled herrings are great. The pork entrees are very tasty. The bread is fresh from Olson's bakery. Check out Olson's for excellent Danish pastry.
