This place is so cute and quaint. The decor is beautiful and I love how many choices there are for pastry. It's hard to choose what to have, but you can do to-go or dine in. I would recommend a nice start to the morning here. They just had their 54th anniversary from when they opened in 1970

Olsen's bakery definitely lives up to the hype! We got a voucher for the full breakfast from our hotel, and it was so much delicious food, we could have eaten it for every meal! We made sure to make two more visits by the end of our trip for extra goodies to take home!

We came up on Christmas Eve and waited maybe 15 minutes from the back of the line to the front.

Ordered a chocolate and coconut macaroon, bucket of the cookies (5 dozen pieces), and a danish, and a cream puff. Everything is moderately priced and everything we ate was super good. Highly recommend the spot.

The bakery offers Eurpean/Danish cookies, pastries, and sweet treats. They have the bucket cookies for less than $19 don’t forget to buy some to take home. I bought 5 buckets to give to my friends. The only downfall is the parking area, so hard to find a space especially if there many people around.

This is another place you have to visit during a trip to Solvang! The parties are absolutely amazing! Many unique and special things at this shop. Definitely recommended.
Warning: There can be a long line to order. Worth the wait.

I'm speechless. This is the best danish I've had in my life. The pastry was fluffy with so many layers and a light buttery flavor. The cream cheese filling was sweet and not too acidic.

What made this place unique and special were the workers. They were so kind and checked up on us twice. They even offered to warm up the danish to make it taste fresh out of the oven which no other bakery offered or could do. Price was reasonable and atmosphere was great.

Definitely a must try when in Solvang.

The best bakery in Solvang! Make sure you get the bucket of cookies for home. We got the gingerbread, cheese danish, bear claw and other delicious baked good. It’s all truly amazing and you can’t go wrong at Olsen’s.

This Danish bakery was superb, you walk in and right away you get the vibes like your in Denmark. This bakery is packed and always busy and it's no wonder because the pastries are so delicious and high quality. I don't mind the travel time to get there because it was worth it and the town of slovang is just great to walk around,

Came here on Sunday at 6pm. Many of the bakeries and pastries are closed. Googled this place...and I'm so glad I came here. I spent $70 on sweets to take back home with me. I'm here filming Solvang vineyards and had to get some yummies to take back to the fam. The place is welcoming, clean and friendly staff. There are indoor and outdoor sitting. I parked right in front and just stuffed myself with all the goodies I bought.

Highly recommend this place!

Delicious snacks & coffee for breakfast…. This place is still a great pick if you didn’t make it early to Paula’s Pancakes and experienced the long wait there. Olsen’s has a wide selection of sweets and they are all great choices as take home gifts to friends and family. We picked up a tub of Assorted Danish Cookies. 🤙🏻☺🤙🏻

Fantastic bakery with a wide range of pastries. I loved their caramel cappuccino, their mocha waffles and the Swedish delight the most. Their jalapeño cheese pull-apart bread was the perfect compliment to all the sweet pastries we had.

The pastries are so fresh and moist! Super rich with butter and definitely everything tastes homemade. Their cinnamon rolls were so soft that I didn't need to heat them up to get the delicious take out. Their strawberry and apple danishes were freaking amazing! You actually get a lot of the fruit filling, especially in their turnovers. It's not dice like other places, but actual slices.
They have a breakfast plate that is your choice of a bread roll, danish or cinnamon roll, orange juice, and your choice of coffee or tea. I can't remember the price since it came with my hotel package.
They even have a small gift shop!

This bakery has a long history in the danish town of solvang. One of the tourist destination here.

If you like pastries and baked goods, this is the place for you. A slice of heaven on earth. A wide selection of cakes, in fact too many to choose from. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The eclairs get a special mention as they are super yummy.
Well worth a visit. Highly recommended.

Olsen's Danish Village Bakery is situated in Solvang California which is Danish Village. Solvang is full of Bakery, ice-creams, wines shops. Olsen's is a famous Bakery shop in this Danish Village. One can eat their items in and outside the shop also. Coffee, milk and desserts are also available. Is famous for Danish Waffles, Limpa bread, Seven Sisters butter rings coffee cakes and many more. We tried Danish Waffles and hot chocolate coffee which were damn good.

Parking: same issue in the whole town--park in one of those big lots down the road

I ordered the Swedish Delight for about $6, but it was worth it, amazing taste and texture. Nice bakery.

Wow oh wow! This place is great. The lady fingers, pastries, cinnamon rolls, Dutch donuts and cookies were what i bought.

The Dutch donut was my favorite as well as the large fresh chocolate chip cookie.

So much choices and they are attractive to me! I especially recommend the cream puff, chocolate eclair, and napoleons. The danish waffle is also a good choice. This place is a little bit far away from visitors center so you need to walk along the mission drive to get there. But every step you walked is worth!
