Manor Line Back 40

This is the best coffee shop in front royal. They have a well executed espresso-based menu to include the basics and some more complex items such as a Mexican Mocha and Turmeric Latte. The rooster sandwich is one of the best breakfast sandwiches I ever had. The atmosphere is relaxed like an old tavern with comfortable leather couches and quiet. It was really relaxing.

Delicious Mocha breve! Spoke with the barista about the chocolate they use, and she said they make all of their flavorings from scratch. The chocolate in my mocha tasted like good quality. I've been collecting pictures here of the mocha latte art im served each time I go :D . The place has a real vintage vibe with lots of space to relax. Looks to be pretty kid friendly, with most of the customers having a little one in tow (including me). The name of the place has a bit of history behind it. Stemming from the land allocations done in the 1700s. The staff was friendly and was happy to chat about the place.

Great spot with good coffee. It's definitely focused on the coffee and they don't cover it with sweetness. They make their own syrups!

I like it when I find some place by accident. Suuuuper cozy and quaint inside with real good coffee. (Sorry L Dee’s) Been coming down to Front Royal for 4 years and never knew this joint existed. They even have Franziskaner Hefeweizen.

I'm here to talk about their pizza. The good coffee, atmosphere, and service have all been mentioned before by others. But hello, can we talk about their PIZZA?? It's not just a coffeeshop with the typical latte and pastries. They've carried over their food menu items from the Manorline cafe, including their BeeKeepers pizza, which is probably my favorite pizza in all of life right now. Think honey is a strange ingredient in a pizza? Well you haven't tried the beekeepers. Try it! It's awesome!! The red chili flakes give it a kick with subtle hints of sweet from the honey. I didn't really need another reason to come here but now it's the first place I go when I want pizza!

Food, service, atmosphere just perfect for. My new hangout.

Go here!! This place is the best coffee shop in town! Not only is their coffee amazing-try the lavender latte or the valencian-but they really care about supporting and giving back to the community. They're also awesome with dietary restrictions.

I’m spoiled but that’s generally because I make my own coffee, and I happened to stop through on here on my way home (Texas) and decided to try Line Back 40. I usually base whether or not I stop somewhere by the worst reviews for a place and there were a few but all-in-all, I found the experience enjoyable and the coffee a delight contrary to those reviews. Maybe they took them to heart but I would recommend this place in a heartbeat.

They just opened up their cocktail bar, and man was it good! Coffee and smoothies were already on point, now it’s the perfect anytime drink spot.

I’ve been here a few times to meet friends for coffee. This is a great place to get a light meal and cocktails too.

Amazing hot chocolate! Loved the orange cardamom flavoured hot chocolate. Good service :)

Golden latte was perfectly blended with spice and milk. Gluten free chocolate chip cookie was good too, not too dry. I like how large the seating area is, lots of room for families. Park in the 2 hr area and you’ll be fine.

If you have something to write, go here to write it. The coffee and accompaniments are excellent (the people of Front Royal have commendably high standards in their restaurants), the surroundings are unique and beautiful, and the staff are very friendly -- and their view is that they're not running a retail space where you get to linger for a little, they're running a community living room that happens to serve refreshments. You can buy one coffee (or nothing at all!) and stay for hours if you like.

Very cute coffee shop in an old barn. Good breakfast sandwiches and drinks. Service was slow on a weekend morning because only one person working there. I wasn't in a hurry so that was very chill for me, but I wouldn't go if I were in a hurry and needed coffee.

My boyfriend and I ordered the vanilla latte and the sunrise breakfast sandwiches. Both were delicious. Friendly staff and cute/cozy dine in areas.

The Manor Line Back 40 is absolutely one of my favorite spots in Front Royal! You'll find me here grabbing a pour over coffee or cappuccino and chatting with the baristas early in the morning, swinging by in the afternoon to grab a smoothie after the gym (make sure to add a scoop of protein powder!), or drinking a soothing herbal tea late at night with a book on one of the incredibly cozy couches. Regardless of the time of day, it's always a delight!

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The place is very warm and welcoming. They have good drinks and very good food. It is a nice place to relax and get some food.
Love that they are open later than other places around, and it is a nice place to hang out with friends.

Great coffee, great food, and great people! Their breakfast sandwiches were so unique and delicious. The “Bee Keepers Pizza” is one of the best pizzas I have ever had!

My favorite place in FroRo to get coffee! It’s comfortable, has toys for my kids to play with, and has great coffee :). I also love that they’re open in the evenings, it’s the perfect spot to read!
