OMG. I have died and found my perfect ice cream flavor. There's more "stuff" than ice cream in the flavor - "I'm not sure yet." Absolutely perfect for the self indulged folks like myself!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy and fast to order and head out with tons of park benches to sit on along Main St. Sooooo many great flavor options. I'm so glad we stopped by on a whim!

Saw the advertisement for blueberry soft serve. Had to try it. It was amazing and the worker was really nice. Great spot for Ice cream. The wild maine blueberry soft serve is a must try!! 🫐🍦

This might catch you out but being from Chicago, a lot of places are cash only. Quick service and good ice cream. They do have a large amount of non-dairy options! Nice to grab a small dessert and walk around and window shop.

Note a lot of places don’t allow food or drink when shopping.

These guys were super nice and the ice cream selection was phenomenal! This is the best place to get ice cream in Bar Harbor! They have great outdoor seating and the lines move very quickly. I highly recommend the store – they also have a very well lit and uncluttered store. The view from the ice cream shop makes great people watching, too!

Very good ice cream with lots of different flavors. The one scoop was definitely enough for one person. I got the turtle caramel and it was delicious!

Top ice cream shop in Bar Harbor. Blueberry soft serve, made with local blueberries, is top notch. Also have almond milk soft serve and dozens of homemade hard scoop flavors. A real treat that your kids will love. Seating outside on a a small patio.

Best place to get ice cream in Bar Harbor. Forget the overcrowded tourist trap down the street. This place has REALLY good flavors(get the "I'm not sure yet") and reasonable prices (for Bar Harbor). They have a lot of people working the counter so even if it looks like there's a line, they quickly serve customers.

Went here for the dairy free ice cream for our daughter. They had twelve vegan ice cream flavors (in their own compartment) and two soft serve flavors (in their own machine) that were also able to get as a twist. Whole family got a cone and it was pricy, but the fact our allergic child was able to get some from the same place safely was worth it for us. The regular ice creams we got were all creamy & delicious. The dairy free one was great as well. The guys helping us were all friendly & knowledgeable on how to deal with food allergies.

Blueberry soft serve is worth the 4 hour drive!!! And the owner was so kind as to let us in the last day for another round before we left Bar Harbor. Can’t wait to get another this summer!

The blueberry soft serve ice cream is amazing! It's maybe a bit on the pricier side but worth it in my opinion. Do note that they only accept cash and not credit cards.

The best ice cream I've ever had in my life. Yes, Acadia and Bar Harbor are beautiful, but if I take the 8 hour drive to come back here again it'll be for this ice cream. Every flavor is phenomenal but you must try "Raspberry Disaster" and "I'm Not Sure Yet".

For everyone complaining about cash only, there are signs around the entire building letting you know it's cash only before you even place an order. Read the signs and you will be a happy customer!

Great ice cream, awesome flavors, LOVED the Grapenut Ice cream! There is a tie for best ice cream on the island.....Cj's is right there! Highly recommend!!

Went 3 times while we were in town. Fast service. Really liked their chocolate shake. Good variety. Great location near park across the street.

Went several times during our trip to Bar Harbor! The Vegan ice cream options were so creamy and delicious!!! Chocolate peanut butter amazing! Vanilla blueberry YUM! My husband loved the Almond Joy! These guys know how to make outstanding Vegan ice creams! I’m sure the regular ice creams are amazing as well!

They have vegan soft serve ice cream! The price was good and the place was very busy, but it was tasty!

I can only have Sugar Free Ice Cream, and that can really limit your Options. They have a vanilla Raspberry swirl ice cream that is so good and you cannot even tell its sugar free!!

The ice cream (regular ice cream with sugar and dairy) was excellent. We had both the blueberry soft serve and various hand-dipped flavors and all were excellent. We could tell the ice cream was high quality. The owner is a bit abrasive as others pointed out but I believe it is well intentioned. He wants to serve as many customers as he can and keep the line moving (which I appreciate). And we did chat with him as he scooped our ice cream and was pleasant to talk with. Also the waffle cones were awesome! We tried several ice cream shops in Bar Harbor and believe this is the best.

Tons of yummy ice cream flavors, blueberry pie, gelato. Lines are shorter, indoor seating and a few nearby benches.

Great ice cream place in Bar Harbor. I only tried the mountain blueberry but it was fantastic. My wife tried the mint chocolate chip and said it was great as well.

It was doing a steady business but the was no wait as they were serving people as fast as they ordered.

A sign said they only take cash so make sure to come prepared.

WOW! you cannot miss this place if you're vegan! I could hardly decide what to get! The coffee cookies and cream blew me away but that vanilla soft serve was next level!!!!
