Our oven had broken down the week before Christmas and I ordered a replacement part to be delivered via USPS to my office so we could get sooner. The sender notified me that it was delayed and would be now be delivered the following Monday, 12/23/19. When I checked the tracking it said it had been delivered to the Stowe Post Office, for distribution later that so I showed up at the post Office at 7:45 Saturday morning, prior to their opening. I was able to speak to Bill through a fellow post office customer's PO Box, and he dug through the mountain of Christmas packages to find our part.

I was able to get home and get it installed just in time for my family to start our traditional Christmas Cookie bake-off (my daughter had traveled home from Boston the night before just for this occasion). I really appreciated the customer service and kindness Bill lent me and my family in finding our package. It really helped make our Holidays a happy one!

I have used this post office for years. I find all the workers responsible, friendly, and helpful. As customers queue up, they add staff at the front to serve customers more quickly - a feature I have not seen at other USPS facilities. The Amazon contract necessitates pick up here, but it is better than packages getting wet or left at the front door when I am out of town.

Outstanding service from Stowe Post Office....parcels sent from Edinburgh United Kingdom 🇬🇧 are numerous!! Bill provides an excellent service he makes sure my nephew is aware of parcels for pickup no faults to be found.

The most friendly USPS staff I have ever met. Jane was our mail lady. Gonna miss seeing the Jeep come down the road!

Bill is incredibly nice and the rest of the staff is usually in bad moods, but if your looking to pick up your package plan on staying for awhile there is always a long line that always moves slow. Even during slow season in Stowe they will only have one person on the counters it’s an average of 15-25 minutes every time just to pick up one simple package. They need a better system for people picking oackages

The robust female was a NIGHTMARE!!! She loudly repeated my information & had a nasty attitude. Someone needs to take one for the team, this woman needs to get la!d or something. Would've gotten 5 stars if it weren't for her!

If I could I’d give them zero stars for the in house workers. I was told “is it a matter of life and death if you get your package or not” today when I went to see if it had been brought back after my tracking information said attempted delivery but other packages arrived. She couldn’t be bothered to look into anything for me about the whereabouts of my package was. Wishing I could have everything forwarded to Morrisville post office to deal with people who actually enjoy their job.

These people are genuinely clueless and have no idea what they’re doing. Twice I’ve had problems with them delivering to my apartment which is numbered and isn’t some hard to find place. Very frustrating that one time they tried to return to sender and I have to go pick it up and now this time they have returned to sender because for some reason, leaving a package in the mailbox or on my porch is too hard.

It is known Stowe-wide that the post master is in way over her head and floundering horribly, something even Andrew in the district office has acknowledged. Bill, on the other hand, is the one bright spot at what is otherwise a train wreck of an operation. The performance of this facility leaves EVERYTHING to be desired...

Terrible post office in gorgeous town. I found the postmaster, Kristine McAllister to be nasty, incompetent and rude. The rest of the staff seem to dislike her as well, which creates a terrible working environment. They seem to lose about 25% of the packages, 10% of the letters, and do not place any notifications. Worst part is they seem to blame customers for their incompetence. Its a shame because the rest of the town is a quintessential New England post card. Reminds me of Blue Velvet.
