SF Hardware store is open again! I love this community hardware store They have so much good stuff exactly what I need when I need it. If you need batteries light bulbs a custom key made or just some pliers go to SF Hardware they got it all

A kind man and good selection. The complaints about unclear hours aren't entirely off base, but I live nearby so it's no bother to me.

Absolutely best service and extremely helpful about many common household repairs. Good selection of hardware.

Stopped by to quickly grab a screwdriver kit and hex keys, owner was helpful in finding what I needed and had me on my way very quickly. Happy to have a nearby local business for any hardware needs!

Made me sad reading some of these poor reviews about “grumpy” owners and “disorganized shop.” Not my XP at all.

This store is owned by a very sweet elderly couple. They’ve always been incredibly helpful when I need help finding something or advice on a project. All items are affordable.

I bought a clear silicone from another store, thinking that it should look clear when being applied. When it came out white, it thought the silicone may have been incorrectly labelled..

So I went into SF Hardware looking for a clear silicone. The lady staff took me to the silicone section and got me a clear one. When I explained the situation to her, she said that the clear one looks white when being applied and it will become clear why dried up.

Apparently, it saved me a few dollars for not having to buy another one. But more importantly, it is her act of professionalism and truthfulness won my respect.

Small shop with a big selection. Great for hardware, but they also have lots of housewares and other odds and ends. Great to have in the neighborhood!

This is my favorite kind of hardware store! Packed to the brim, everything from bailing wire to playing cards along with the standard tools, lights, electrical, and plumbing. You could outfit a wagon for the Oregon Trail!

Typical hardware store and they copy keys. Friendly, helpful owners.

Its impressive how much stuff they were able to get in this small hole in the wall on Divisadero. Have everything you need for simple household repairs you may run into.
