If we had just ordered the carrot soup and foccacia alone it would have been perfect. The cacio e pepe was super salty, and the seasonal greens burrata salad was interesting, but I wish there were more... salad to it. Also seems like the online menu isn't refreshed as the current offerings are changed. It's nice to have fresh seasonal fare, but we were counting on more veggie offerings than what was on the menu when we arrived.

That carrot soup with the fennel oil has been on my mind though...

Wonderful down to earth restaurant with great staff and off the hook food. EVERY dish that was ordered was amazing. Sarah is amazing and gave us SUCH great recommendations both in the restaurant and for after hours. Thank you sarah!

If you’re looking for an aesthetic environment, extremely friendly staff, and absolutely wonderful food I found peasants feast to be all of the above! From the moment you are greeted everyone there shows warm hospitality. The food is amazing, even though I ordered a few things off the menu I can attest that the rest is just as good if not better. Definitely recommend for lunch or dinner followed by a nice walk through the rest of Solvang.

Pro: had schnitzel and halibut. Both were very good unique and tasty. I can eat a lot but was full with 1 appetizers.
Con: a little pricy comes out to be $50 a person but worth it cause the food is good.

Bright and airy inside and out, this little Solvang restaurant has a feel of earthiness and freshness. The greenery, lighting and flowers transform you into a garden party experience. No reservations, so there is a little bit of wait time, but it was well worth it! The food here was not anything ordinary! Lots to choose from! Decadent salads and the most delicious spicy fried chicken sandwich on the planet! If you are in the Solvang area, put this stop on your list! You will not be disappointed!

It always helps when a restaurant has outdoor seating and the weather is perfect... and on the January day we visited, the weather was perfect! Service was great, the food came out of the kitchen quickly and it was delicious! I had the hot chicken with potatoes, and the potatoes were the star of the show! I think they may have been fried in duck fat, just a guess, delicious!

The ambiance is amazing. Perfect lighting with soft lights. Waitress, sara, was very friendly and attentive. Focaccia bread was so yummy... and the halibut was delish. Will be coming back 🥰

The fish here is cooked perfectly, and the food is presented like a work of art. The fish collar is MUST!!!! All of the staff was welcoming and the atmosphere was relaxing.

Everything we ordered was outstanding. We were passing our dishes to each other so we can all experience how good the food was. Two thumbs way up for this amazing restaurant.

The food was excellent! I had the pork shoulder schnitzel, which was perfectly breaded and very moist. The roasted carrots and Molay sauce was an outstanding creation! Would highly recommend eating here for not only the inventive menu but the flawless execution. The service is wonderful as well.

Great little spot! Food was incredibly fresh. The pickled vegetables were AMAZING! And I say that as someone that pickles her own veggies! The pastrami salmon was so fresh and melted in my mouth 11/10! The potatoes were crunchy and the aioli was great for dipping.

Peasants Feast located in Solvang is a must try from there burgers to there salads and appetizers. Everything was well season and cooked to perfection can't go wrong with anything on the menu

Delicious fried chicken sandwich. Perfect amount of heat, crispy and crunch crust that did not fall off. Side of tomato soup very tasty. Cute indoor too.

Absolutely love the location with the outside seating which I highly recommend. The service was friendly and great. I tried their smash burger and hot chicken. Both were great and tasty. Lots of flavor. Also tried their fried potatoes. Their cheese grits weren't that great. The ambiance was great too. If in the area, will come again.

This wonderful restaurant is hiding just off the main street in Solvang. Take a few steps away from the tourist traps and step into some world class cuisine.

We had heard good things about the food here, as a step up from more touristy fare nearby. And the reputation is well-deserved. Our fish tacos were on clearly homemade blue masa corn tortillas and the fried chicken thigh on our Caesar salad was very crunchy. The boquerones on the salad and dressing were perfect.

Great little lunch spot. Staff is very friendly and the location is prime time to sit back and watch things happening around town.

Here’s what we ordered:
- Mushroom cappuccino (very unique and rich dish. Big enough for two people but not anymore).
- Solvang Hot Chicken (very nicely friend chicken breast, hot oil not too spicy. Order it with the cheese polenta, very delicious side!)

Prices are a little high for a lunch spot but we enjoyed our visit.

A place I've been wanting to visit for about a year, and it did not disappoint. Good mix of dishes bursting with flavor, many of them with some unique touches. If you are coming late in the service there may be some outages so check with the hostess. The prices reflected the quality of the food appropriately and the fried chicken sandwich, peasants bacon, the smash burger and crispy potatoes where delicious with a lot of house made ingredients. Unfortunately the beef dip was out. Good selection of beer and wine as well, and most seating is outdoor with shade so pick some decent weather.

The chicken sandwich was delicious! My hubby and I shared, and they graciously split everything for us. He said it was the best lunch he’s had all year! Mac and cheese was also tasty and loved the breadcrumbs on top. We enjoyed a shady table on the patio. Will visit again!
