Kahler Property Management

Kahler has been a 5 star business since day one. My family & I love our home. I recently had a maintenance inspection yesterday & based my concerns of a couple household things (I should’ve put a request in but it was the least of my concerns at the moment). Today they had maintenance over & fixed those concerns. My experience with Kahler has been nothing short of amazing.

The experience with the Kahler Management Company complemented our other great experiences moving to SD. They were always very courteous, helpful, friendly and went above and beyond to help us out. We also came from Japan, so we hadn’t yet transferred our phones over, but it was no problem for them to keep in touch with us by email. When you’re in a new state and trying to get your bearings, finding a team that makes your move run more smoothly brings much peace of mind Thank you! God Bless! 😌😉

After an arduous six weeks of house/apartment hunting, I finally found a beautiful home, thanks to Kahler Property Management. The personnel are professional, kind, knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly. They quickly answered all my questions throughout about a hundred email conversations until I was satisfied. I moved in last Saturday and feel comfortable that I made the right choice. Great customer service!

The Kahler Experince for my family was wonderful! We rented a single family home. From the application process to the move out everything went very smooth. Communication with office staff was very polite and all of our question were answered. We had a few minor maintenance issues and they were handle in a timely manner. Strongly recommend KPM!

I've been with Kahler Property Management for the past 25 years. I would highly recommend using their services! I've used other property management companies in other parts of the country, and Kahler is definitely the best I've worked with. They are always responsive to any issue that comes up and my monthly statement always arrived like clockwork. I recently sold my Rapid City property and can only hope I find future property management companies up to the high quality of service Kahler provided!

Every single aspect of leasing through Kahler has been absolutely fantastic. From the leasing team that handled everything for us, to the maintenance team, that got us through emergency fixes.

Erin has managed to put together one awesome team for leasing. Averie and Alana have been so awesome to work with. I would like to give a special thank you to Alana, though.

Kahler has been managing property for me for over twenty years. They are the best. They keep me informed of all that's going on with my rental. They have an amazing maintenance team. I never have to worry about whether or not they will make good decisions. They always do.

We rented from this company for about 3 years and have nothing bad to say about them. We had a plumbing problem and drainage problems in the basement and it was fixed fast. All inspections were notified at a reasonable time and was not a hindrance. Move out was easy and received our full deposit back. Good company to rent from and to manage your property.

Renting isn't an experience I've ever enjoyed. Please note, what I'm going to write is a reflection of KPM, not of the property owner - they are two separate things and as a renter, you have to do your best to separate the two. Also, I was fortunate to make my payments on time and worked off the understanding that I was using someone else's property and to treat it like my own. I felt KPM was always extremely responsive; whether to fix maintenance issues (usually within the day or a few at most), help with billing issues (always right on it), and just in general, be helpful and kind. These folks at KPM are people and if you treat them as you would want to be treated, I've never found them to be anything less than amazing. They were able to help me get a skunk out of my window well when Animal Control left me hanging. My only complaint is that I would want them to be an advocate for the tenant as much as they are for the owner in situations when the owner is unreasonable (legitimately) and unethical. On my move out, they were extremely understanding and helpful. Overall, a great group of people to work with while renting.

Very attentive, and answered all my numerous questions. Only issue was they waited to fill my application until my doctor sent over all my ESA paperwork. Not a big deal just wish I knew ahead of time otherwise Excellent staff and customer service!!

Thank you for clarification on the ESA, I wasn't aware of the return on the application fee. I feel that is very fair and have changed my rating to reflect that.

Kahler Property Management or KPM is a Client of my company (Express Collections.) They have truly been an amazing company to work with. They have an excellent management team, professional, friendly, organized, and always quick to help or respond if we need anything from them. Having the business relationship with KPM that I do and how great they have been to work with, I would highly recommend them. They seem to truly care about their tenants and will provide a positive renting experience.

If you're looking for a great company to lease from, look no further. I've leased from them for years, at two different properties, and everything was always great. This company has been awesome to work with.
