I had an absolutely incredible experience with Andrew getting a head shot done. In a previous head shot experience, the photographer was quiet, disengaging, and while they took a decent photo, they ultimately didn't allow me to be a part of the process in choosing the final photo, so I wasn't happy. Andrew was the complete opposite of that experience. Andrew was friendly, inviting, and made me feel very comfortable. Note: for someone like me who is not all that comfortable with someone taking their photo, really anytime, much less in a setting where you are literally in the spotlight, I was initially a little nervous. However, Andrew made me feel at ease. The process was really seamless and easy. In the end, he took incredible photos! He then sent me bunch to choose from, and after having chosen the photo I liked, he did some minor touch ups and gave me the final product which looked great. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Andrew to anyone looking for a professional photographer. He is a true Pro.

Andrew is awesome. I am not a very photogenic person so taking headshots for my career in Real Estate is not exactly my favorite thing to do. Despite that, Andrew made the whole process fun and easy. He took some great shots and was very easy to work with. He was priced better than many other photographers in town and in my opinion, he takes much better photos as well. Andrew is fantastic. He is generous with his time, and in my case, I had paid for 2 headshots in different attire. In the second outfit, it was clear to Andrew that the photos were looking much better than in the first. He said he could not in good faith charge me for those first photos, given how good the second ones were, and said he would only charge me half of what we originally agreed upon! This was incredibly generous, and the hallmark of someone who takes genuine and deep pride in his craft and his business.

Andrew was a complete joy to work with and I am so pleased with my headshots! He is a true miracle worker! I was starting to think that my best side was the back of my head. I hired Andrew to take an author photo of me for my writing website. I suspected that he would go the extra length to get a unique headshot that captured my personal brand. I was right. Andrew was incredibly friendly and worked with me for longer than the typical headshot session, designing a photograph that spoke wonders. He worked however long it took to get a great shot. This wasn't very long at all because Andrew is an artist with great ideas. I think more engineers should become photographers like Andrew has.

I have used AKPhoto for nearly all my listings. Even in today's market when houses sell themselves it's the listing broker's obligation to the client to use high quality photos to market the house and get the best price. Andrew has such a keen eye on what angles to chose and is very detail-oriented. He has also done drone videos for my listings. The shot goes from the sky and seamless into the front door and into each room. It's quite a masterpiece or realty cinema! He is also very reliable and fun to work with. He's also done head-shots for us as well and is great at making you look your best. I highly recommend him!

We engaged AK Photo to cover our 50th wedding anniversary brunch, held at Boettcher Mansion in August. We have been thoroughly delighted with Andrew's photographs, his excellent business practices, and his way of engaging 70 guests and our immediate family, who ranged in age from 5 to 86.

Some details:
1) We appreciated the AK Photo website, where we were presented with photography we immediately liked.

2) Andrew was responsive and very clear about particulars. This was especially important to us since we organized this Colorado event from out of state.

3) On the day of the event, Andrew arrived early and stayed late. He made himself available to various groups of family and friends, and he was very unobtrusive during our festivities. He was also very skilled in getting even our most reluctant family members to join in family photos.

4) His pricing is very fair; we definitely got value for our dollar.

5) Last, but also first, we'd recommend Andrew to everyone, regardless of the occasion, and we'd use AK Photo again when we are in Colorado.
