If you're looking for a fun and unique cocktail lounge to hang out at in Oakland, look no further.

I've gone to sandbar several times and love it. From the beach vibe created by the decor and sand on the floor as you enter, the lighting, and the drink/cocktail options available.

This place is great if you're looking for somewhere low key, to catch up with friends and potentially watch a game or two during the afternoon. It also gets busier later in the evening as party goers come out to take the night. I typically grab a rum punch or dark & stormy, but they've got plenty of alcohol, so pick what speaks to you.

A new hidden gem. Great bartenders. Creative cocktails. Very unpretentious - come as you are! Oh and it's beach themed. Also, don't blame it on the gorilla milk. 😅 I also hosted an event here. The grotto can be booked out for a bar minimum. Talk to Hasani about it.

Such a cool bar it makes you feel like you’re on a beach and the bathroom art is amazing.

Cute bar- love the theme. Feels like it’d be a little more fun in the summer. I had the Gorilla Milk cocktail which had a gross name lol but was quite yummy. There’s a photo booth inside which is nice too.

Fun place with a nice rum selection. Hasani was at the bar the night I went and he was really thoughtful and helpful. Great place to watch a game and their drinks are fun. They have a blended one called Gorilla Milk that would be excellent on a hot night

Excellent customer service very friendly and socially environment, and the bar has a extremely tasty on point menu with a variety of different yet addictive flavors Im definitely returning with friends 👍🏽👍🏽

Love the bartenders always well taken care. The atmosphere, good vibes, music for all ages. Good for birthday parties or just hangout with fun people.

A friend and I come to the Sandbar often. They recently had a DJ spin which was surprising but loved it. Drinks are served great as well. Never crowded so it's a great place to chat with some cocktails!

This place was dope. They were getting to close early because it was dead out, but they took care of 15 of us at last call. Great service and I don’t even drink no more. Only good vibes at this spot

Stopped by the sandbar this weekend and was so blown away we went back again the next night! Full bar available but the specialty cocktails were absolutely delicious - definitely try the Passion Aggressive or the Yay Breeze cocktails for a taste of island life in the middle of Oakland🍹 Fun vibe, great staff and yes even SAND!

Really cute themed bar, with real sand on the floor. Drinks weren't real strong but very tasty.

Such a great spot! The ambiance and music are top notch. Actual sand on the floor. A lot of attention has been Friendly service. Great drinks menu, a bit weak on the alcohol though.

A relatively new spot, but already an Oakland classic. Good energy, decoration is next level and awesome staff/owners. I have yet to have a cocktail I didn’t love.

Interesting theme for a bar not on a beach but it sort of works. It would work as a bar crawl stop or a decent themed night out spot
