Great selection of outdoor plants and natives, everyone is super nice, helpful and welcoming. The greenhouses are breathtaking and it's so enjoyable to visit each one. Their indoor house plant selection is great, I've gotten some large plants for a great deal. They also have orchid greenhouses and the African violet room which is the only one I've found in the whole city if you want a real selection with quality.

So much to do here! Green lovers unite! Green houses full of so many options. If you're a man like me, ask questions and get informed! Outdoor areas full also! WARNING ⚠ you'll leave here with a peaceful, loving feeling, because it's so nice and properly placed on IH-10 ! Come look, learn to plant something new! We return often and will continue to do so!

Wonderful variety and quality of plants and flowers. They have huge selection of flowers, plants and trees that far exceed their beautiful violets. They have at least 11 green houses. Great reason to get out of the house and be surrounded around such beauty. It's a relaxing place to go to look around and see all their gorgeous plants.

Went here to look for Saliva on a recommendation from a neighbor and I'm so glad that I did! Their flowers, plants, shrubs and trees are absolutely beautiful! They are vibrant and healthy as well as reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I will definitely be going back!

This nursery is so much more than that! They are always generous with sharing their skills and experience and their beautiful and large selection of plants always live well beyond my skill level.

This has to be the greatest nursery in town! The staff is friendly & knowledgeable, the selection is huge, and the place itself is beautiful!
Skip the big box store and check out this place next time you’re looking for: plants, trees, shrubs, etc.
Five stars all the way!

First time visiting. Really great place. So many themed greenhouses to explore. Found some unexpected had-to-have finds. Reasonable prices with some items very well priced - same price if not lower than competitors, but for a larger/more mature plant.

With a knowledgeable staff and great selection it's the best independent nursery in Boerne.

Soo happy to have discovered this place! Such sweet staff and they actually had a way more diverse and colorful selection than I found at milbergers, so happy I don’t have to drive to San Antonio for beautiful flowers anymore 🌸

Amazing selection with unbeatable prices!
Edit: I also really like that I'm not being hovered over while I'm there. It's truly blissful to fall into this seeming time warp [The Nursery That Time Forgo], where the signs are handwritten, and there's no one in orange vests asking me if I need help every 20 minutes. It's obvious that the minimal staff is mostly devoted to caring for their VAST inventory; it shows in the incredible health/size of their plants, and crazy low prices.
Of course, If I have a question or need help getting something, there's always someone not too far from the analog register to assist me. Whoever I find is always helpful, but not in the overtly brainwashed "I just watched the corporate training video again, I CAN'T WAIT TO HELP YOU (because I really need my corporate health benefits)" manner. Honestly, I think of them as jungle natives. They're quiet people, like plants are quiet. Basically, they're plant monks.
Recently, my indoor Yucca had been plagued by some mystery illness, and I hadn't been able to find anything on the internet about it. I stopped by the nursery and talked to the owner, Ken, in his office (the room with the purple glow by the register). Well, of course, he knew exactly what the issue was right away and wrote me a plant RX to fix her up. I get the feeling there's nothing that man doesn't know about plants.
Hot Tips: Stop by when you have ample time to truly enjoy this place. Come with a full phone battery, because you won't find those little signs sticking out of the pots giving you all the stats on each plant; you're going to have to look some stuff up. Especially check on indoor plants if you animals; they have so many different varieties, and a fair amount are toxic if eaten by dogs or cats. Wear mosquito repellent. Welcome to the jungle.

If you love violets, orchids, and everything in between, this place is for you. Great selection and friendly, knowledgeable staff. I can not say enough good things about this magical place! Thanks to Ken for a lovely lesson in violet care, and to Dot for nerding out with me about orchids!!!

Love this place. Bought some genovese basil, mint, a fig tree, and 2 African violets. Staff friendly and very helpful... Dangerous combination for my pocket book.

This is the best nursery in the area. The prices are great, the staff is always friendly and helpful, and they always have a wide variety of plants. They have many greenhouses filled with beautiful options, as well as a large outdoor area. Anything you're looking for can be found here. All of the plants I've purchased from them have done well, and I've purchased quite a few.

Never knew this little gem was out here until my sister in law wanted to stop in for their violet collection. Absolutely loved this place first visit but don't be my last. I left with a Pink magnolia.

My mother introduced me to this place many years ago. She loved har african violets and they have a wonderful assortment. I use their Special fertilizer on all of my indoor plants and they all grow like crazy. They have a great variety of herbs, shrubs, vines, flowers, shade plants and vegetables In the huge greenhouses and surrounding outdoor areas. Give yourself a good amount of time when you go the first time. There is such an assortment! Go to the main house to ask questions. Whoever checks people out really knows their stuff!
