It is awesome place, The cave is so amazing, u can see bats and salamanders inside, clean water and many different rock formations. Flors are wet but it is to be expected in a cave, and you need to be careful. Our guide was very nice and informative, she told us many stories about the cave and it's history. Good prices and military discounts. We had a great time exploring the cave and I definitely recommend the visit. There is a souvenir store on the grounds and the RV park.

Cascade Caverns is insanely beautiful and it is so cool that a Patrick Swayze movie was shot in the cave! My hubby and I watched Father Hood when we got home!

Trinity aka SWEET TEA was so much fun! And we basically had a private tour on Friday afternoon and you get your own flashlight.

They have so much water! Their formation growth rate is an inch every 20 years, whereas at my workplace, Inner Space it's an inch every 100 years.

We were so excited to see the salamanders and the I'm DYING to see what lies below on their summer only Wild Caving tour! The grounds itself is just gorgeous.

This was a smaller cave but so natural. It's one of the most natural caves I've ever visited. Will be back for the wild cave tour in the summer. Dillon and linray were the best tour guides. Very knowledgeable and humorous! Thanks for a great tour!

Well worth the price of admission. And "Pocket" our tour guide, was great. We were the last tour of the day and I overheard her say goodnight to the cave. That is someone who loves the natural beauty of the caves and it was obvious by the way she showed us around.

My wife and I visited the caverns just a few days ago. It was a rainy Sunday. We were the only ones on the tour and was great for us because we got an amazing private tour by “Pocket”. I wish we had come years ago. It is beautiful. The bats and salamanders add to the tour.

Took the walking tour, it was roughly 50-60 mins. It’s my first time experiencing a cave tour. I absolutely loved it! We had “Sweat Tea” and she was great. Her cheesy jokes were hilarious and we had a great time! I learned so much about the history, something I enjoy, and got to see some amazing stuff. I don’t want to ruin anything but the bats are awesome, and the end surprise with the lights was the best part. I want to come back with my family bc it was just soo cool! Thank you!

Did the flashlight tour on October 14, 2023 with my husband and our 2 kids. We throughoutly enjoyed the tour with our guide Sweet Tea! We enjoyedher quirkiness attitude, explaining the cave's history, thinking and maintaining our safety, and making the tour an adventure! Thank you! It's definitely a spot to see!!

What a hidden gem!! Probably my favorite cave tour ever. Stingray was the most patient, fun guide. He definitely made the experience even more amazing. Highly recommend! You don't want to miss this one!

Sweet Tea was a funny & wonderful guide. Went with my parents (70+) and my 8 yr old. We all were able to enjoy it and had a blast! Definitely recommend and intrigued by their other deeper cave tour in the future!!

I hope everyone gets “Stingray” as their tour guide! He made it easy to remember cool facts about the cave and knew exactly where to find unique formations and critters. Definitely a once in a lifetime amazing experience! I highly recommend for families (with kids too!). We brought our 6 and 3 year old girls and it was amazing to hear their oohs and ahhs as we explored the cave.

There is camping on site and additional tours in the summer. We plan on coming back soon!

Underrated or hidden germ in San Antonio. It was preserved well and a tour guide ( Ray-a.k.a. Sting Ray) was funny but very knowledgeable person. It was wonderful experience with small group of people (about 10 people). Found a baby bat sleeping and cute salamanders in the water.

In the spirit of practicing what i preach and leaving good reviews when i receive good service since my job also thrives on good word of mouth. I've lived in the area for almost 4 years and haven't visited yet a shame since Cascade Caverns is a fun little hour distraction if you take the 20 dollar tour. The tour guide Brandon was funny and kept the tour interesting. Very pretty scenery, though if your over 6 feet like i am you will be ducking quite a bit nice place to get out and walk a bit and enjoy nature though if your a little out of shape the walk back up the stairs can leave you a little winded. Overall a nice experience and worth the money in my opinion 5/5

So neat. Very wet cave. Be careful walking around. Tour guide Brandon was awesome. Very knowledgeable. The trail itself is out and back. There is a wonderful little waterfall at the end. I even got to see Cascade Caverns Salamanders and Bats! Definitely worth the time. Go check it out! 👍

What I loved about this the most is that it's not a massive operation. It's very simple yet so much fun. Especially for kids on a basic tour. My 8 yo is convinced he saw megalodon bones in there. That's the kind of imagination I want to spark. My 12 yo wasn't really interested in going but came out and said that was very interesting. Mission accomplished! Tours begin top of each hour. Very reasonably priced. Our guide Aaron was fantastic - knowledgeable and funny. He needs a cash app QR code for tips !

Perfect nature to explore the great outdoors in Texas and beat the heat! This cave is fascinating and with walk in tours every hour, you can’t miss out on this iconic cave dwelling. The tour guides are wonderful and know their stuff and seem to take great pride in their work there which makes the experience more personable. Easy to find right off of IH10 and just a wonderfully experience all around. I would visit oftern as park of my routine hikes…especially on days when the sun is too much to bear (it was a cool 65° inside while outside temps were over 100°).

Pocket was a wonderful guide. She was very knowlegable and went at a good pace. Very happy we went. Visited the Natural Bridge Caverns the day before. However, if we could have only chosen one, it would be Cascade. Had fun mining for gems while we waited for our tour to start.

Our tour guide "stingray" was amazing, and one of the best cave tours I've been on, would highly recommend this tour, very educational, and visually stunning. Would not recommend for handicapped, there are a lot of stairs and it gets slippery as this is an active wet cave, lots of climbing down and up, you will get "cave kisses" i.e. dripped on quite a bit as well. Tour takes about an hour or more.
