Slice Pizza & Brew Montevallo

Food was excellent. The Little Piggy Pizza which was even the waitress' fav was chef's kiss. Service was quick too. I was also pleased to learn they had Guinness. I also like the outdoor seating. I got lucky that it was a fairly warm evening for late January. Overall very impressed and glad my friend recommended this place. I will most definitely be going back!

We had a nice experience at this new establishment. Got to meet one of the owners, Jerry (in the pictures provided) who was very nice as he made hus rounds checking on customers. We ordered the tots appetizers and let me tell you they were absolutely anazing! Seriously. We also ordered two pizzas, a 12" broccoli crust "margarita" topping (kindo plain for my liking but my sister loved it) and a 14" regular crust "old school" topping and both were delicious. I absolutely recommend this new pizza place!

Showed up early on Sunday so not much of a crowd yet, but the service was amazing. Pizza “veggie pesto” was really good as well, I think better than the downtown Birmingham location. It was definitely faster than the downtown location as well. The patio was also a nice chill vibe when we were there.

For a place that was packed, we got our food really fast. I wish I had gotten the employees names because they were fantastic! The young woman with her blue hair pulled back in a scrunchie at the front of the outdoor seating was extremely sweet and helpful. We had a young man with dark hair and glasses as our server and he was so attentive and always made sure our drinks were full. Every pizza going by looked and smelled great. We had the Wing and a prayer pizza (minus onions and tomatoes) and it was 10/10. Cant wait to come back and try more.

Slice is great. Make sure you go see Mrs. Ashley she will take such good care of you and make you feel like family. Such a fun environment and phenomenal food!!

Also if Ms. Shawndis is working you can be sure you will be taken care of. The best of the best around here.

Good food! Nice staff very helpful and friendly! You have the option to use a qr code to order or to order through a person. They were very helpful with ordering and I will be back again!

The pizza at this place is really delicious. I love the flavors and presentation of the pie. My favorite so far has been the BBQ brisket because of the delicious chunks of brisket on the pizza and the mingling of the BBQ and horseradish sauce. I also suggest the wing and a prayer if you want buffalo wings and pizza, but I can't decide this option gives you both! Oh and the staff is so kind every time I've visited. This place is worth visiting!

My first time going to Slice and it was great. The pizza was incredible and the atmosphere was very chill. I really liked the vibe. Our server was very sweet and checked on us frequently, which is a huge plus in my book. They had great drinks and a great selection. I’ll definitely be back!

Since they opened in Montevallo we have eaten here several times and have yet to be disappointed. Pizzas are great and served promptly. The afternoon specials and Happy Hour are nice options for savings. We prefer dining outside in the 'arbor' but inside is also nice. We haven't been seated in the annex site yet (in the second building) so we don't have an opinion about that option. Highly recommend!

Erin P. was the best server!! I will ask for her the next time i come back. She was very knowledgeable of the menu (even gave my friend and I a very good recommendation). She was SUPER professional and her eye makeup was gorgeous! The pizza was fresh and hot and the Caesar salad was superb. As employees of UM, my friend and I will be back!

Slice Montevallo is a great place to get a great meal and relax with family. We prefer to eat in the outdoor dining area; the atmosphere is great. There are many great choices but my favorite is Spicy Hawaiian. My wife loves the pesto based pizzas. This is one of our favorites places to go in the area. Service has always need good and they are very friendly.

4.5 stars. The kitchen is doing well. It's nice to have a genuine thin crust pizza option with a simple and tasty dough. The wait staff are inexperienced and miss a few things. The layout with the bar/kitchen, patio, and separate building for indoor seating is odd but works (character).

Hands down the BEST pizza I've ever had!!! I can't begin to describe the freshness of all the ingredients and the difference in taste it truly makes. These aren't your typical Sysco ingredients in a jug/cardboard box, this is FRESH! I've never seen nor had such green ingredients on my pizza. And can we talk about the cheese for a moment👌😋 I'm already drooling over my next trip. The service was out of this world... Our server was super sweet and just bubbly(can't remember her name but I remember she said she's from Wisconsin) definitely worth every penny, especially seeing my kids eat the way they did

Pizza is really good if you like meat you need to get the piggly wiggly. You should also get the oven baked wings they are amazing! Will definitely be going again. Only complaint is the soda/water is more ice than drink!

I think Slice is really making the right choice by moving in Montevallo. The vibe of the place fits the city and it has a very signature feel that a lot of other places around really lack. The bar is well stocked for sports night, or just a night out in general. The staff is very kind and diligent in keeping you informed and served. Lots of custom pizza options to suit any desire you might want. Yes, even vegan options.

In comparison to the other locations this one is smaller in overall size but does not lack seating options whatsoever. They have a bar inside the main building with overflow seating. Outside patio options for those who prefer it. Also, they have dine in seating across the parking lot from the main building. This side features arcade style games and tvs for the little ones.

The bar is top notch!!! To those saying it isn’t I have no idea what’s wrong with you 🤷🏿

Wow! The servers are great and accommodating. The outside seating works well in any weather, and the pizza! DELICIOUS. There are Vegan options, cauliflower crust, and also gluten free crust. This place is wonderful.

Best food I've EVER had in Montevallo! So glad they are here and HOPE they have many successful years ahead. The pizza was great but I actually liked my salad more. Will definitely be back, service was good as well.
