Biggest chicken sandwich I have ever been served. It is called Nashville hot. It definitely has kick and is not a mild sandwich.

Best cheeseburger I've had in a very long time. Great, friendly service. Menu variety and prices will keep me returning here often. My new favorite place; and I live 30 miles away in Birmingham.

Incredibly friendly and attentive service! Food was amazing and got to meet the owner Jeff who genuinely cares about his guests. Took the time to walk around and meet everyone. This place is much more than just a restraunt.

Meet with a group and had a great a time. The service was excellent and even tho I think we got a little loud a couple times they didn't seem to mind it at all.the food was good priced about average for a taven type place. We've went back a couple times more and I'm sure we will again!

Love this place! Friendly workers and just a great atmosphere. We go here every Tuesday, and sometimes on Friday. Love the food, never a disappointment!

Tough to get into, our wait was around 30mis on a Saturday afternoon however once you’re in the food and environment is very good. Looking forward to visiting again.

Stopped in for an early dinner with my son and we had the best service from Jay and the food was amazing!! If we are ever back that way again, we will definitely be eating here!!

This place is amazing! We have never been when the place is not packed. You usually have to do overflow parking down the street! That should tell you something!

Every time our shooting team is in town we have dinner here. Fantastic food and more than you can eat. The fried mushrooms are awesome and a huge portion. You could eat them for dinner! I always get the Jumbo Shrimp platter.

Enjoyed the mushrooms, always. Kids meals were the "best we've ever had!"

We had a delightful waitress, Peyton, that shared with us many delicious sounding options. She was very helpful and attentive. We look forward to returning again!

I cannot say enough. Amazing service, Amazing food, Amazing atmosphere. I had a blackened flounder sandwich and my husband had the bacon cheddar burger. We got cheese curds for appetizer. So. GOOD. We felt taken care of by the staff and that doesn't happen often these days. 100% recommend!

First time for us, we had a group of 6. We had to wait a little bit, but not more than you would expect for a Friday night. There were a bunch of people there. It's a happening little place, with lots of dinning space and a full service bar. There is a stage for live music, but I am not sure if they have bands come in or not. The food was really good, everything we tried from the apps to the main meal, the sides and the salads were all really good. One of the steaks we had was under cooked, but it wasn't enough for us to turn down the food. I would recommend that anyone try it out and we will be back to try other plates as well.

We are always happy to go here! Best fried green tomatoes! Hamburgers are off the chain and my son is in love with their Philly cheesesteak! Always a 10!

Main Street Tavern is absolutely amazing for two reasons. The first is definitely the owners! They are amazing people and know how to run a restaurant to perfection. The second is the restaurant itself! The atmosphere is perfect with a wide open concept and the service is great as well not to mention it’s right on Main Street. As far as food, my go to is the J Lawley. The cream sauce is absolutely amazing with shrimp nestled throughout. My daughter got it recently and was able to sub the shrimp with grilled chicken, so that’s a plus. My most recent selection was the Buffalo Chicken Burger. Now don’t let the name fool you since this is a chicken sandwich but it’s not just any buffalo chicken sandwich. It’s one of the best I have ever had and by far the biggest! Make sure to bring an extra bun in your back pocket because you will need it to finish this mammoth (yes, you really need an extra bun unless you want a double buffalo chicken sandwich)! We also ordered the Jumbo Fried Shrimp Platter with roasted garlic potatoes. We prefer grilled shrimp and that was not a problem even though the meal is fried shrimp. An absolutely amazing restaurant ran by some of the best people I know. And, if Montevallo is not in your area, then maybe Chelsea is! They have a sister restaurant in Chelsea that is just as amazing. Go see Station 31 Kitchen in Chelsea as well!

Great place, love the atmosphere. My favorite item on the menu is the steak, the flavor is amazing, way better than any steakhouse I’ve been to. I always recommend it to friends!

Best chicken tenders I've had ever! Great place to hangout and grab a bite to eat. The service is very good, changes often but it's a college town so that's expected. If I am ever within an hour of this place you can bet I am stopping by to grab a bite to eat.

Not from around here, but had the best experience dining here. The staff was so nice & accommodating. Family & I were coming from a memorial service to have lunch before going to an interment ceremony. We thought it was just going to be us & 2 others, but they ended up bringing nearly everyone from the service. So after accidently ambushing them with 15 or so people, all of which were on a tight schedule, they handled it amazingly & were so gracious about trying to accommodate us all. I can’t thank them enough for their hospitality & timeliness. Not to mention the food was just so so tasty, I had the buffalo chicken wrap & it did not disappoint! If I ever find myself in this part of Alabama ever again, I’ll be sure to stop & grab a bite!

I ordered J Lawley pasta, EXTREMELY good ! Others ordered fried flounder & other ordered blackened flounder, both said it they were very good! Waitress was friendly & nice, took good care of us. We'll definitely be going back.
