Zapopan Mexican Restaurant

I had been craving good Mexican food and have been wanting ice cream for weeks. Killed 2 birds with 1 stone! Plus, it IS my Birthday, so I got what I wanted today. Excellent food AND service! Thank you, Zaps!

This is a cute place that has so many different dishes. It was a lot. I think the numbered dishes was about 125 or so.. or it seemed that way. I just asked for fajitas with flower tortillas. I liked them and thought they were tasty.

Also had the giant size margarita and had to have friend finish it. It was a lot for me.

It is a nice place to get something to eat with your friends and to chit chat and such. Relaxed environment and friendly staff. I'd go back In a heartbeat.

Love this place when I am in the area. Doing my EMT rotation in the area. Went several times and it was always good food and service.

This place is great! Some of the best salsa I have ever had at a Mexican restaurant. Has the lunch taco salad and it was larger than the dinner servings at some other Mexican places. Very clean and the atmosphere is great.

We enjoy going here, we go every Wednesday, have been for about 12 years.

This place has (in my opinion) the best Mexican food in Shelby County. I have never had less than fantastic service. Even during a rush they are attentive to the customers. This visit I found out along with the usual offering they have liver and onions done to perfection. Sliced into thin strip with nicely browned onions.. You may scoff but for those who like it this is a meal that has become a rare treat for dining out.

Food was great, service was great! We had no complaints (except maybe about the slightly intoxicated, loud group beside us-but they weren't there too long). This location, in Montevallo, is by far superior to the other locations. The building might not be as nice, but the food is a lot better. The prices, like everything, has gone up. $30 for 2 adults, no alcohol.

Always excellent food and service!

I always get the shredded chicken taco salad, but I tried something with steak and it was good. Took them awhile to warm up to me. Frozen mango margarita is delicious, but a small is way to big for me.

Always love their food especially their queso dip. It's my favourite! And the staff is always quick with everything. Before I barely get stared on the chis and dip the orders already out. I love it! Staff are friendly and ready to wait on their customers

My daughter brought me dinner from here tonight she works at afc nearby and she tells me they are always friendly and orders are always out in minutes her job is very stressful and this place understands she is very happy every time she goes and if my daughter is happy I am happy thank you guys. 11/23/22 just realized this was meant for your Calera location but I'm sure yall are awesome too lol

This is one of our favorite “go to” restaurants. Great food at a very fair price. Customer service is fantastic.
