We were so pleased with our rental experience through Stan White. It was easy to rent and complete paperwork electronically and with a keyless entry, there was no need to check in at the office. The staff frequently connected with us before and during our vacation to ensure things were going smoothly. They were very responsive to any of our questions. Our beach house was BEAUTIFUL and equipped with everything we needed. The home owners were sweet and left us a fresh bouquet of garden flowers and herbs. We couldn’t have asked for more!! Highly recommend working with this rental agency.

We had a blast! We are going back next year! We had a family vacation with our 3 sons and their girlfriends and the house was wonderful, pool, location, just everything!!! Amanda was fabulous helping me book the house and took me step by step in the process. :) LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!!

Two weeks in a beautiful setting, close to the sound for windsurfing and shops (Our favorite coffee house at the Cottage and Blue Pointe restaurant are walking distance) and close to beach and tennis. Lots of special memories! Cannot wait to be back!

For the second year in a row we rented our Outer Banks vacation rental through Stan White Realty in South Nags Head. The staff at the office in Nags Head sets the bar for all others to follow. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted with big smiles and a sense of family. The outstanding customer service, friendliness and professionalism we experienced was like no other we had before.

We have rented several different properties with Stan White based on how many bedrooms we need each year. I can say without a doubt that any vacation home we have rented has always been extremely clean, maintained and made you feel like you were home and not a cottage.

We wanted a family experience with our children and grandchildren. Together we selected the Outer Banks as our Destination. Through the online pages of Stan White properties we were able to able review (from three locations spanning 1700 miles) potential properties looking for the right mix of amenities.

The Stan White offerings were clear, concise and quite informative. Once we made our "short list" I called the office. On the two separate occasions I received nothing but very courteous and knowledgeable assistance.

The great pre-rental experience was continued the day we walked into the Nags Head office (August 2, 2014) to a very warm and smiling reception from the whole staff. The entire check in process was smooth and very timely - in and out in minutes.

We had two occasions to call the office during our stay and again received outstanding service with every pleasantry. Our stay at Tides Cottage was truly a memorable one - so much so that we already booked it for 2015.

One unfortunate post rent communication from Stan White occurred approximately two weeks after our stay ended. We were erroneously pegged as the tenant whose dog destroyed the cottage and were being advised that we would be financially responsible. We found out later it was a tenant previous to us. In speaking with the owners we were advised that it was the previous renters. I accept that these type of errors can occur but I really thought a courtesy call from Stan White would have been made apologizing for the error...sadly none came.

Given our whole experience - we would highly recommend Stan White for any rental desires at the Outer Banks. Well Done Stan White!

This is our fourth straight year staying in the same cottage and utilizing Stand White. We've enjoyed a great vacation to Nags Head each and every summer. As always, the cottage was pristine upon check-in and had everything needed to make us feel at home. While we are able to use a self check-in option due to the key less entry at the cottage, the Stan White staff has always been great even if we don't meet face to face....they even called us the day after our check-in to ensure everything was OK with the cottage and offered their assistance with a smile if we needed anything during our vacation. We will continue to use Stan White for future vacations are actually looking to purchase a rental property in the near future, which will definitely use Stan White to assist with the process! As with past years, we highly recommend Stan White to anyone looking for their ideal vacation rental in the OBX!

I have been vacationing in the Outer Banks since childhood and have rented from Stan White Realty & Co several times in the past. Most recently we stayed at the Sunshine Shack over Memorial Day 2013 and plan to stay there again for Labor Day.
What impresses me most and will keep me coming back to Stan White is the quality of service. Every time I've called the office they've been more than accommodating, taking all of the heavy lifting off of me. The speed of check in was exceptional. I actually had folks waiting in the car who said "Wow, that was the fastest check in I've ever seen!".
I've never experienced any issues with the properties while on vacation, but have full confidence that they would address any issues immediately and to full satisfaction.

As a 6th generation Nags Header (Oh yes - my great grandparents were actually living there when those crazy Wright Brothers were playing up on them dunes) we had a perfect rental experience with Stan White. Our family has been coming down and renting from various local folks for now going on 70 years and we found a lovely cottage with Stan White - as a first time rental for us. The pick up and drop off was a very easy at the in/out main facility on the 'new by pass' road was simple and the cottage we rented was very well set up and maintained. No complaints at all and a great stay was had by our whole family. We quickly rented the same cottage for next year and we plan to make this our regular stay..... for as long as it remains available. A really nice feeling of a return to the 60's era - just hanging at the beach for a week.

We rented a vacation home in South Nags Head from Stan White. Wonderful service, friendly employees and a smooth transaction. The house Actors Equity - was also terrific and fit our needs perfectly. The house was very well appointed with everything you could need. Easy access to the beach. Only suggestion would be to put outdoor furniture on decks.

Our family has stayed in Stan White Realty & Construction homes for many years. Our decision to do so is a result of enjoying the homes themselves, but also the quality of the service we have enjoyed. Each of our experiences has been first rate. Whether it has been communication over the phone or in their Nags Head office, we have been treated warmly and efficiently. Over the years, they have incorporated new approaches for signing up for a unit or checking in. No waiting lines! The units themselves have been spotless. We haven't had a mechanical problem. This year, we broke the coffee carafe; It was an accident!. A replacement was delivered within two hours. Rest assured; we will be partnering with Stan White for years to come.

Stan White Realty was very helpful, professional, yet personable with my family's vacation experience. We had never been to the OBX before so we had no idea what it was like. We LOVED it there and plan on returning. It was a perfect family oriented "TWILIGHT ZONE" experience.(I didn't realize this existed). We have never met so many nice, friendly people while away from home. Stan White Realty can get you the perfect house for your family. Great check in-check out procedure.

We had a good experience with Stan White renting our vacation home. Their staff was friendly, check-in/out was very quick and painless. They even let us in our home a little early without giving us any trouble. The house we rented (Seaquil) was awesome and we would definitely love to stay there again. Everything was clean and well taken care of and the house was very well stocked with all the vacation essentials.

My family and I have been vacationing at the Outer Banks for over 20 years. In that time we have rented many houses from many different realty companies. We always seem to come back to Stan White though. Stan White has always exceeded our expectations with the quality of the wide variety of properties they offer. We have used Stan White Realty every year but two in the last 16 for our vacation rentals in the Outer Banks. The staff is always knowledgeable, helpful and smiling. The houses are always top notch. Well maintained and full of amenities. The listings are always accurate in descriptions and details. I've never had to call for maintenance during our stays, everything always in working order. The linen rental packages are reasonable and worth leaving bed linens and towels at home.
Our favorite are is South Nags Head and SWR always has a great inventory of homes to choose from.

This was our first stay with Stan White properties. Their website is very user friendly. The photos of properties are accurate. The properties are obviously well maintained. I loved the detailed property descriptions. I have 3 children and I generally travel with one or both my parents. Their site made it easy to find 2 king master suites and then space for the kids. The list they give you as a reminder of things to pack is awesome! The only thing we forgot was the bath mat. Their staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Their maintenance guy was professional and friendly. The booking, check in and check out processes were smooth and easy. And finally, Stan White has such a selection of properties, I can't imagine using anyone else for my typical group which can range from my immediately family of 5 to my extended family of 15.

The home we rented was exactly as advertised. Absolutely beautiful, very clean and taken very good care of. It was stocked with everything one would need while vacationing. All bedding and towels were included. We had a question about the dishwasher and when I emailed Stan white realty the response was IMMEDIATE. Definitely will continue using them.

We have used this realty company more than once, and have never been disappointed. We had a few glitches in our needs this year, and the staff went above and beyond to be sure everything was taken care of before our arrival. The house was beautiful, clean, well stocked and in a perfect location. I didn't want to leave! We will definitely continue using Stan White for our vacation needs and hopefully for a purchase of our own home in the OBX! They rock :)

We rented our vacation rental through Stan White last month, for the first time, and I was VERY pleased with the service we received. The express pick-up was SUPER convenient, especially when all we wanted to do was arrive at the home after a long drive, and the free gift was a nice treat! The couple of times I did have to call the office (Nags Head) because I had questions, I was treated with courtesy and given the help I desired (office hours, check-out procedures). The house we rented was clean and well-stocked and we didn't need 85% of what we brought because it was provided. Oh, and don't let me forget to mention- there are NO security deposits. Plus the ability to make reservations and payments online was a big convenience! I would definitely rent through Stan White again, without hesitation.

This year was the second year my wife and I have stayed at a Stan White rental. We have nothing but great things to say about our visits to Nags Head and have booked again for next year, but an even longer stay.
