A medium sized book store with an amazing selection. Have an extensive children's and young readers section. Staff are very helpful with great recommendations. They also have a good selection of calendars journals and cards. I love to just browse and read their recommendations. There is also a small but well curated selection of games and toys.

Strong local bookstore, with a surprisingly wide range givens it's small size. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

This was a fantastic store with lots of books options. They had something for everyone. They had a lot of books on sale as well and collections from popular writers. They had sections that were based on San Francisco which was very cool. Really enjoyed the place. Staff was very friendly and helpful

One of the employees here, an older man, recommended me a nonfiction book. His pitch was so good that I ended up buying it, and it ended up being one of my favorite books of all time! For anyone curious, it is called "Madhouse at the End of the Earth" by Julian Sancton.

Overall a great place with friendly staff and a large selection. I'm usually not a fan of new bookstores, but Books Inc has great stuff on sale and is always a pleasant visit. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the marina.

Great selection of popular, more obscure, and local books. The staff is very helpful. You can (and should) also look at their online selection if you can't find something in store. It can be shipped very quickly and feels much better than buying from big online retailers. Also has great selection of kids books and things like toys and puzzles if you're in a pinch needing a last minute gift.

Great book store, a highlight is that one of the employees draws gorgeous little cartoons at the checkout for kids, based on the books they are buying

I shopped here during a pleasure trip to SF. It looks and feel like an independent bookstore, though it's actually part of a small Bay Area chain.
Aside from a very knowledgeable friendly staff, the store is well-stocked for its size, with excellent magazine, local interest, cooking sections. Best of all, browsing is encouraged. Impressive enough that I plan to make this a regular stop when my travels take me to the Bay.

Marina Girls bookclub is great!!

Nice staff, good selection. Always support your local book store. If they don't have the book they will order it and text you when it arrives. Don't need to pay upfront so if you change your mind no worries.
