Ram Construction of Annapolis worked with my architect to build for my wife and I, the home of our dreams. From the commencement of construction, Ram completed each phase of construction on time and within our agreed budget. The quality of their workmanship is unmatched. Had a 20-year old roof and needed vinyl siding replaced, got a referral to Sam at RAM Construction. Sam was responsive, came right out and we jointly decided that the roof was old enough that it needed to be replaced. Sam recommended Hardie siding which looks great. Sam's crew was professional and did a quality job on both the roof and the siding, and Sam was in contact with me throughout the whole process, answering all questions. The house looks great and I know that RAM's work has added a tremendous increase in the value of my home. I couldn't be more pleased with Sam and RAM. These guys are real pros.

I needed my roof redone because of reoccurring leaks. So I wanted to make sure I went to the right place. I had 3 estimates from 3 different companies— and out of all of them Ram had offered me the best price for the materials and product quality being offered.

Setting the whole thing up was smooth and it took them roughly 2 days to do. (My home is around ~2550 sq ft) They were extremely extremely clean & efficient. Was very happy with everything, would do 10 stars if I could.

During our home inspection found that the roof was near end of life. RAM came highly recommended by the real estate company and they gave us an excellent quote. Sam helped us through the shingle selection, guiding us with his 27 years of experience as to what was most effective and would look best after install. Workers were punctual and worked through the hottest day of the year to deliver a high quality job. We are very happy with the finished product.

Dealing with Ram was significantly easier than dealing with other construction companies. Whether it be with payment, questions pertaining to my roof (because I don’t know much), or time estimates— they felt smoother than most construction places I was used to. I don’t usually have big fixer upper projects done on my home but next time I do have one I’m definitely going through them

I told a buddy of mine I needed my roof replaced and he referred me to this company. The guy who runs it is Sam and this man knows his stuff. He saved me plenty of headaches down the road by exposing issues on my roof I didn't even know I had. He's got a solid operation going on because him and his team finished my roof much quicker than I expected

Had RAM perform roof replacement on home and detached garage.
Asked them to return to repair botched drip edge over entry. they never came.
We have had myriad problems with leaks since. New roofer has found multiple examples of improper installation of flashing and ice shields
DO NOT HAVE THEM INSTALL A ROOF

Alright, I have to respond to RAM CONSTRUCTION response to my post-
First of all, we did seek to resolve the issues with you. You ignored our multiple requests to fix the bent and crooked drip edge over the front entry and no one ever came to fix it. When you showed up to 'address' the bad leak, your guys ran some calk along a section of original flashing near a dormer. Thats it.

To be clear, not only do none of our skylights leak ( nor have they ever done so in the years we have lived here) , there is no skylight anywhere near the site of the shoddy work that your team performed. The leak was on the outer edge of the roof where it ( should ) empty into the gutter.
When my contractor lifted the shingles there, he found the following:
The ice barrier membrane material was not only upside down, the protective plastic that covers the adhesive side had not been removed so, in short, it was not adhering to the roof sheathing
The metal drip edge, which should have been installed prior to the ice barrier ( so that any water penetrating the shingles would flow OVER that edge into the gutter) was instead nailed over and into the barrier, resulting in water seeping under the drip edge and down the interior ceiling and wall. While on the roof, he also found drip edge on a downslope that was cut shorter than the end of the fascia board, causing water to drip behind the fascia, which rotted from the backside.
I take no pleasure in "publicly" posting, as you claim. But facts are facts here. The work was shoddy and sub standard.The team on our job didn't appear to know the fundamental basic of roof installation.
