Hello Betty

This is one of the best Oceanside restaurants I've been to. Their seafood dishes are so good. We got the fish of the day plate, octopus and cod tacos and mussels. Food is so delicious and the interior design is so modern and has a great beach vibe. We'll definitely come back for music and dancing in their patio area

Hello Betty is a most delicious restaurant with great food and a wonderful atmosphere that included live music by @leemelton. The fish & chips were delicious as was the hamburger and tacos. Highly recommend.

Great service! Showed us the drink specials and made food recommendations. Food was great! Relaxed at an outdoor table and enjoyed the scenery. Will definitely come back again.

WOW! Is all I can say, I wish I could give more stars than 5. We had Irena as our amazing waitress & she absolutely was the best! We learned so much about Croatia (where she is from). She was attentive to every single one of us, including our littles! Irena, THANK YOU! We can’t wait to be back🫶🏼

Really cool spot, on the weekends they have live music and there's a nice hangout socializing area on the rooftop. Food was really good and drinks were too, definitely worth checking out

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hello Betty in Oceanside, California, and I must say, the highlight of my experience was the exceptional service provided by Irena. From the moment we were seated, Irena greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home.

Throughout the meal, Irena demonstrated impeccable attention to detail, ensuring that our orders were taken promptly and accurately. She was knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations, which greatly enhanced our dining experience.

What truly set Irena apart was her genuine enthusiasm and passion for her work. She went above and beyond to accommodate any special requests we had and checked in with us regularly to ensure we were satisfied with our meal.

Not only was Irena efficient and professional, but she also had a wonderful personality that added to the overall ambiance of the restaurant. Her friendly demeanor and engaging conversation made us feel like valued guests, and we left Hello Betty with smiles on our faces thanks to her delightful service.

In conclusion, I cannot recommend Irena at Hello Betty highly enough. Her exceptional service truly made our dining experience memorable, and I look forward to returning to Hello Betty and being greeted by her warm hospitality once again.

We were here on vacation, we came across Hello Bettys. The food was good and fastly served. Thank goodness for Shae our waitress. She was so helpful and knowledgeable of all the foods. She was so sweet and patient with us! We would go back specifically for her amazing service. She deserves a raise!

My family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) had a great experience at Hello Betty. The shrimp tacos were a highlight of my food on our vacation. The atmosphere was fun and casual. The food took a little while to come out, but it was ok because our boys were in a good mood. They have a good selection of kids meal items as well. My 5 year old loved his fish and chips!

A pleasant experience for a random Monday. Started with the oyster in a half shell, which had a nice green sauce to complement. The main entrée was the special, which were mussels in a vodka sauce served with some sour dough slices. Both options were nice. These were promptly washed down with the O’Side-Rita, which is a nice house Margarita.

Great service and a nice atmosphere. Come check it out!

Lovely spot with fast service and delicious dishes. Some items were a little cold where as other items were fresh and hot.. makes you wish you get your food as it’s prepared not based u til the whole shebang is ready to be served.

Absolutely will be coming back here. The food is fresh and the drinks were delicious and refreshing. Everything on the menu looked great but I ended up going with the tacos and didn't regret it.

This restaurant is amazing , food and customer service everybody was friendly and helpful especially THOMAS shout out to you ! our waiter I didn't know the bartenders name but He is really good at what He does as I don't drink much and wanted mostly fruity and He created an amazing drink so thank you. We ordered alot of food to have leftovers at the hotel , and because we were curious how great they were because we have read so many great reviews and they didn't fail us. AMAZING food worth the price and the drive. It was a great start to our getaway, handsdown we all thought the BOMB NACHOS were not only THE BOMB but the best thing on the menu aside from the Fish and Chips. Though all the food is good from the tacos to the tuna melt we tried. I definitely recommend this place if you stay in downtown Oceanside or if you want to try a new restaurant by the beach. 🖤

Awesome cocktails. Great food. Had the ceviche, oysters, and peanuts. Yum. Beautiful location. Greta is awesome, super friendly and welcoming even though we were her first early birds at 11am on the dot. Thanks everyone at Hello, Betty for a great experience!!!

My uncle and I wanted to catch up and neither of us had been back home to Oceanside in over 20 years. We found Hello Betty through a search, narrowed our decision based on a random wheel of names app. We were not disappointed! Our server was exceptional (sorry, I am bad with names and this was a trip to bury my parents so I was a bit stressed.) I enjoyed a delightful tropical drink (banana something, though it didn't taste banana) while my uncle had a red wine. Appetizers were enjoyed by those not allergic to shellfish (a.k.a. not me.) My uncle had carne asada, my friend had quinoa with chicken, and I had a chicken Caesar salad. We were all very pleased and full, bringing back left-overs. We shared a chocolate torte for dessert. (No picture of dessert.)

Tuesday evening we got seated pretty fast they got a beautiful patio upstairs with ocean View's and breeze, nice music playing. Tony Hawp's IPA was amazing. They have a decent selection of draft beers and bottled beers. We tried their bomb fries,fish tacos and the cheeseburger. everything was fantastic tastes good . kids loved the Meyer's lemon cheesecake, will definitely come back.

Really cool place! Sat on the patio and enjoyed the weather. Our server was AMAZING. I believe her name was Madeline and she was very attentive and super sweet. If you’re in Oceanside and looking for some good fish tacos this is a great spot.

Went late 9pm ish on Friday with our pup. Outside patio was closed, but the server set up a table for us .

We were lucky enough to have a waitress name Miranda. She’s very accommodating very talkative. The food was very good and the atmosphere very nice. we will definitely return.
