If you ever need the feel for a good burger, look no further if ever in the area. Good prices, good food and great service. Love the vibe of the layout. You know a dinner is good when there are license plates for decorations, lol.

Fun and friendly. Car culture diner ambiance. Tasty burgers. Huge portions. Joined friends recently when the Kings of La Jolla live band was performing. #kingsoflajollaband. Now I'm a regular. They play 50s 60s 70s hits. Lots of people dancing. Performances 2x monthly @ Pit Stop, 1st & 3rd Saturdays 6-8 pm

First time going here and I it was true what people have told me, the food is great. They have a big menu with lots of different foods and combos. The guy who took our order was very nice and was very outgoing. Looking from the outside one wouldn’t know that the place is huge inside and really nostalgic. 100’s of License plates from all over the country line the walls along with a 1962 car inside and also the old fashioned drive in movie speakers. It’s also the most affordable place that I’ve found in a long time and it’s great food.

The Wreak Breakfast burrito is really good. Huge portion, very filling. I love the variety of breakfast items.

This was my first visit and I was very pleased with the food and the service. Everyone as friendly and we were greeted as we approached the counter.

It's a seat yourself environment so nothing crazy as you walk through the door, just head to the counter and order. The food came out hot and fresh. The portion sizes were more than enough to be full and grab a to-go box worth.

The men's bathroom smelled and looked clean. Most restaurants miss the mark on either of those but this one did not.

10/10 would recommend!

Great place that reminds me of an old diner. They even have a car parked in the middle of the restaurant. Pretty cool!

Stopped here today on the way through, and so glad we did. The food was amazing. The ranch was probably one of the best ranch I've had. The amount of food you get for the price was a great deal. The inside was decorated so cool. We will definitely be back and will be bring so family members with us to try. Definitely recommend trying this place if you haven't. This will be our go to when we are in the area.

Dope spot to grab breakfast, lunch or dinner with an old school vibe. The staff is very friendly and always make sure that we have everything we need. Prices have raised here just like every other place around but the food portions you get make up for it, they are not stingy.

I recently had lunch at this location. I haven't stopped here for a while (since the start of the pandemic situation). New owner, GREAT service! The food has always been good and reasonably priced, but what put this visit over the top was the service. All of the staff were on-point and focused to provide an amazing level of customer focus. At one point, Alex the owner came out from behind the front order desk to check on their guests. He took a moment to tell me about his acquisition of this location and how much of a challenge it had been to stay open during the pandemic. Even to the point of being the ONLY employee on-site for a long stretch of that time.

For his dedication to staying open, providing an amazing venue and ambiance as well as great food, I whole-heartedly recommend this place and will visit frequently from this point forward.

Fantastic place! Cool ambience! Pit Stop owner Andy and his staff were truly exceptional. They catered to our tailored requests and they always do so with courtesy, consideration, and respect. We especially enjoyed the dinner combos which were fantastic deals for the portion, flavor, and appetite. Come check it out!

Great food and service. The inside looks GREAT. The people are so nice. Will be back for sure. I will be get my family and friends to come with me next time.

What a great place in Oceanside SoCal, stepped back in time with tons of auto memorabilia and fantastic signage and posters. Really creative motif, the American Pickers would love this diner. Food was excellent, lots of local patronage, which is always a good sign, and table choices were too cool, from huge counters to tables built on tire rims, definitely on our list of favorites and just off the 76, very near the 5 interchange. Great menu choices. Very friendly staff. The zucchini fries were great with my burger. Kind of jealous about my friends steak though after it came out. Great place for a casual meal with friends.

This is the second time I come to this restaurant, and I absolutely love it! It has became one of my favorite places. The service is good. The food is delicious. And the place looks amazing. I just don't like that the drinks are Pepsi products.

It's all around a great place to eat. The prices are a little high, but the portions and quality match. I suggest their onion rings in their ranch😍

The pit stop is a great place! The food is terrific, there is a wide range of choices, and on the weekends they sometimes have a great live band. Don’t miss this!

Yesterday was our first time here & OMG the food was amazing! Huge portions! The ranch is delicious, if you know, YOU KNOW! The guy taking my order was very friendly & not in a rush to hurry me off the phone like other restaurants which was nice & inviting. On the expensive side BUT well worth it once seeing the portions. Thanks for a great experience guys! We will definitely come back when we're in town again!
